Location excellent. The hostel was not as clean as I have expected, it could have been cleaner. The room was very small, but the common area was spacious and comfortable. The real problem is the room -- i stayed in a 4- bedded windowless room, and it was disturbingly stinky. This should not be a result of poor ventilation (the ventilation is OK, and I had opened the door for for 15 minutes , but it did not help). my suspicion: mattress?? anyway, this made the experience uncomfortable.
Location: excellent, especially if you are going to visit the northern part of the city (e.g. Yang Ming Shan) Staff: very friendly and helpful. The security guard is also helpful and friendly as well. :) The only drawback: because of the poor design, the bathroom will be covered with water after every shower. The bathroom will become wet and a bit slippery for a very long time. ( I stayed in a family room for 3. )

This is probably one of the best hostels i have ever been! There are enough open and shared space for people to meet and to hang around, for example, the very spacious and comfortable living room and the big and well- equipped kitchen (+ dining area). Room and toilet are clean. People and staff are nice. Really, i am missing the days i spent in the hostel. It may take 20 mins to walk to the city center, but it's an easy pleasant walk. i highly recommend it!
The location is impeccable, 10+ mins and you would be at Victoria station. well- equipped kitchen, but a bit unclean and messy. The time when i was there, it might just happen, but one of the toilet was clogged. But the biggest problem i had was about the quality of sleep. Regardless of the noise generated by other roommates, which was unavoidable i suppose, the ceiling squeaked every time when somebody on the upper floor walked. As a light sleeper, i found this a bit unbearable.
