Great location and good breakfast, but bathrooms on 2nd floor could use some help! Also, the door to the 20 bed female dorm is in need of repair so it shuts without slamming- Nights here are loud so bring some earplugs!

Hi there - thanks for your review! The second floor bathrooms are being renovated shortly and they are cleaned and checked on a constant basis. We have addressed the issue of the door in the female dorm. The larger dorms when full can be a bit louder if people are coming and going but this is unfortunately the reality of the rooms when they are so large. Many thanks, The Management

Location is great- right next to La Rambla, Plaza Catalunya, and a usable metro line. We liked the individual bed curtains, outlets, and lights, as these made your bed a more comfortable place. However, food at breakfast runs out earlier than expected and staff members could be a bit friendlier.

We loved the unique layout of the rooms (every bed with its own outlet, light, and shelf) and floors (ours had swings), but the party atmosphere was too much. Be prepared for a loud night and bring some extra food to supplement the small breakfast.

Great location right next to the cathedral, great free (tips-based) walking tour every morning, entry at a reduced price to the awesome flamenco museum & show! Security not the best, but lockers are available in the rooms. Loud at night because of the area, so bring earplugs! Not many bathrooms. Overall, a nice stay!

Loved the TV and movie rentals, and also loved the many common areas available. Also, for 20 euro at reception, we were able to buy a full day bus tour to the Cliffs of Moher and surrounding area- it was a great deal and a wonderful day we'd recommend! Definitely enjoyed our stay here!

We were excited about the location when we arrived and used the great kitchen facilities (self-catering) right away. However, we were not as impressed by many of the staff's blasé attitude toward working at reception. Breakfast is available but costs extra, and since there are few places to get food nearby we brought our own groceries.
