After staying at the pariwana in Cusco, the Lima location was very disappointing. It's on a loud, busy street and the noise travels into the room. There were people coming into the hostel who weren't staying there -- the security was hardly ever watching the front door. Bathrooms were probably cleaned once a day. By the time the bar gets busy, the crowd takes over the outdoor lounge area. Miraflores which is closer to the coast was much nicer!
Dear guest, Thanks for your review, it is going to help us improve in several areas. We have security checking the door and who get is and out. People who can get in the hostel have to be invited by our guests, there is no other option. We have an invitation form where our guests have to sign and authorize the entry of their friends. We will do our best to keep our bathrooms even cleaner. Just to let you know that we are located in Larco Avenue 189, Miraflores. Cheers, Hostel Manager

Cute place, staff was very helpful. Our ensuite bathroom was nice and clean, but shower was as not hot. Might have been because two others showered before I did. Everything in the hostel was clean except for the extra bathroom on the first floor. Only stayed one night, but would have stayed longer if there hadn't been a strong chemical smell in the morning. Probably from some construction or remodeling.

All the staff at pariwana Cusco was very helpful and friendly! The first floor is noisy because it's next to the courtyard and the music travels from the bar upstairs. We switched to a 6 bedroom dorm on the third floor with an ensuite which was much more quiet and comfortable. The staff keeps up with cleaning all bathrooms and other areas at least three times a day but a lot of people staying at the hostel don't clean up after themselves.
