Hostel Zeus

Athens, Greece

This was a great hostel to stay at. You can't beat the low prices at this hostel in Athens. Another awesome aspect to this hostel is that there is a great balcony where you can hang out, and meet fellow travelers. As a single traveler this was the most important aspect of hostels for me. I made my best friends throughout my trip at Hostel Zeus. Be aware that the bathrooms/showers aren't very clean, but it's what you'd expect for about $10/night.

This was a great hostel to stay at. The atmosphere was great, dorm rooms weren't bad and it's located at a very central location in Dublin. I met some awesome fellow travelers there, and the pub crawl was a lot of fun. Be aware that there are no lockers in the rooms though. You have to rent one for $3 per day, and they are located in the basement of the hostel. The staff are very helpful, and will recommend sites in the city to see.

Snoozles Hostel Galway

This was a great hostel to stay at. I met some great fellow travelers, and was able to take the tours offered by the hostel. It is located right by the main bus station in Galway, and is very easy to find. If you take the GOBUS direct from Dublin airport the bus will park almost right next to the hostel. Great staff as well.

This was a great hostel to stay at. While it was more expensive than other hostels I've stayed at, it was in a nice location...right next to the train station. There is a bar in the lower level of the hostel, which made for a great way to make new friends. Each bunk has a cage to store your things so make sure you bring you own personal lock for safety. I loved that they offered free breakfast too.

This was an excellent hostel to stay at. While it was more expensive than other hostels I've stayed at, it was about average for a Frankfurt hostel. It was in a nice location... about a 5 minute walk to the train and bus stations. There is a bar in the lower level of the hostel, which made for a great way to make new friends as well. Each bunk came with a locker to store your things so make sure you bring you own personal lock for safety.

This was a great hostel to stay at. Very clean, comfortable beds and a short walk from Saint Marco's square. the only negative aspect to this hostel is that there was not really a place to hang out, and meet fellow travelers. The cost is about average for a hostel in Venezia.

This was an excellent hostel to stay at. I was able to stay in a private room for less than $15/night. The owners don't speak much English, but they are very nice people. They offer free transportation to the airport as well, which is a big bonus. Be aware that this hostel is located very close to Perissa Beach, and the quietest part of the island. If you want a more lively night scene, I would recommend staying in Fira.
