Excellent hostel with excellent, friendly owners. Brilliant dinner cooked in the hostel and a good breakfast in the morning. Spacious dorms and a very chilled out atmosphere in the evening. Might be a little tricky to find but it's well signed from the streets.
Thanks for your review! We hope you come back!

We had a brilliant stay in Ouro Preto with Papa and Mama! The two owners and their family are so friendly and accommodating you almost feel like you're at home! It's a bit of a walk up the hill to get to the main square but you're going to find that anywhere in this village. Good breakfast in the morning and good banter from the owners...what more could you want?

We arrived early but were checked in straight away and also given a breakfast, which was excellent and very much appreciated. Excellent location, only two minutes walk from the Metro which will take you anywhere in Sao Paulo. Good sized dorm with good sized locker for luggage and hostel kept very clean. Friendly staff, especially the owner, who had time to talk to us at breakfast and explain his vision for the place.

The free transfer from the airport is excellent and it's worth staying in this hostel for that reason alone. Enjoyed the 'free' walking tour although expect to have to tip. Staff weren't very friendly or helpful, I almost seemed like a nuisance to them. Excellent location in the centre of Buenos Aires with a very good breakfast in the morning. Larger hostel means it loses something in character.
