The only positive was it's location. The staff weren't so much rude, more disinterested. We were really disappointed with the cleanliness of our room, the room was filthy and didn't even look like it had been cleaned prior to our arrival. There were 11 broken floor tiles, some with sharp edges. Our bin wasn't emptied for 4 days. The communal toilets were always dirty and rarely more than half a roll of toilet roll, often none. We came with low expectations however and weren't wrong.

Great place to stay, stunning location, helpful staff, social and friendly atmosphere, and a hot tub with an alps view! Lockers were perhaps abit small but large enough to fit valuables in, and there was access to a kitchen just down the road. Well worth a stay, would return without a thought.

Friendly and helpful staff, however bed was broken and one toilet between a whole floor was an inconvenience. A little difficult to find from the directions given and no free wifi, however good value for money and was not a negative experience.

Really enjoyed our stay, the atmosphere was friendly and food was delicious! The lake was a good half an hour walk but worth it for the hostels good location. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. The showers could be described as interesting but were clean and warm.

Perhaps slightly expensive for backpackers, but an outstanding campsite nonetheless. The pools were great, ice cream parlour was amazing! 3 restaurants to choose from, stunning valley view, apartment was clean and comfortable.

Value for money extremely good. Shuttle bus to and from the station each day was handy but cost 1€ a ticket. The main shower and wash block was brilliant and clean but the dorm bathroom hadn't been touched the whole time we were there and it was very dirty with clumps of hair and mud. The dorm window was the only one without a mosquito net and woke up with 40 bites. On site restaurant was nice but slightly expensive. Overall a pleasant stay and would return.

Good atmosphere in common room, clean rooms, and staff were helpful. Our dorm was very hot in the night and the tiny fans provided made no difference. Shower left little to the imagination with small cubicles and only frosted glass to hide behind.

Staff extemely helpful and welcoming. Easy walking distance from bus station and ferry port and about 100m from the beach! Roof terrace was brilliant to relax or socialise on, and our room had its own basic kitchenette which was more than we'd expected! Only issue was a small amount of sand that wasn't touched on our bathroom floor throughout the week stay despite daily room service, however this was just annoying and nothing serious. Highly reccomend, would stay again!

Hosts were extremely pleasant and welcoming. The room was very nice, but far too hot due to no ac. The kitchen was a little dirty in places but stocked well. The area is a little dodgy and we were advised by more than one person including the owner to be careful late at night. However only a short walk to the metro and things were fine again.

MOSQUITOS. The toilet and shower block were surprisingly nice but our 2 bed shed was unfortunately unclean. The kitchen was also very unclean and only one hob of the oven worked, leaving the other 3 hobs, main oven and grill useless. Run by a pleasant man, it is located about 25 minutes bus ride outside Venice, which can be difficult to stop on your first visit. More of a campsite than backpackers hostel, there was little atmosphere.

The hostel itself is good, facilities all standard the only negative is lack of kitchen. However the real quality of this hostel lies in the owner. Nik was accomodating and went out of his way to help. He even dropped a group of us to the station early on a Sunday morning. He picked us up from the lake everyday at 7 and breakfast was delicious! Felt safe and had a family type atmosphere.

Adapted university accommodation, the rooms are nice and beds extremely comfy. I could see how it might get slightly irritating with only one key per room between all guests but we had no problems. It is a fair walk from the city centre so we used the metro. Staff were pleasant but unfortunately there was no atmosphere. Well stocked and clean kitchen. Good value for money.

The location is about 15 minutes walk from old square, straightforward to get there. Beds weren't spotless but comfy and clean enough. Lockers in every room although most people felt safe enough to leave their bags and even valuables out, something we didn't risk. Staff were really helpful an friendly. Kitchen got crowded but well stocked etc. The atmosphere was 10/10, always people going out, or socialising inside, outside, downstairs in the kitchen, fun even in you didn't go clubbing like us.
