This hostel is a great place to meet people. In certain months of the year they offer pizza party's 6 days of the week were everyone in the hostel is hanging out together. Breakfast was also included. Rooms clean and new sheets given everyday. Staff friendly and a scenic walk to the colosseum is 30 minutes

This place is good for the fact that all other cheap and fun travellers are here but the location is only good for the beach, otherwise it's very quiet. The showers are pretty gross and the staff are helpful but not very welcoming/ help the place have atmosphere. Otherwise this place has all the basics and cheap. Pool is only for private rooms

Far Out Beach Club

This is the place to stay on Ios. Everyone is keen to socialise and party. The vibe is great with a big pool and bar with lovely waitresses. The place has a cheap and friendly gyros place down the road and far out has a decent priced cafe for breakfast to fix your hangover. Beach is right there and buses pick you up from outside the hostel. They do rip you off with an extra charge of 5€ for air con but you can upgrade for an apartment with air con and mini fridge for 2€

This is a long term resident hostel so for travellers I don't suggest you book here. The location is good, near underground, buses and the park for a more scenic route. The people here are lovely and the meals are large. Overall my stay was pleasant

The Monkeys in the Trees

For a hostel with a bar, kitchen and free breakfast it is definitely worth the money. The rooms small with three bed bunks and not a lot of space in the room to store bags. Only a limited number or lockers out in the halls so you can lock your pack but you can put a deposit on a small locker for valuables. The staff are friendly and will recommend bars and cheap eats. A bit out of the main area of shepards bush but the underground is 15 minutes walk.

This hostel was amazing, I met some many cool travellers in one night. Not a party hostel but great place to meet people. The sink or the pipes were noisy just in my dorm but the guy who works there is super nice. They offer breakfast for 1.50£ and have a fridge, microwave and plates and cutlery etc. if you want to be close to the centre of London it isn't the best but definitely a genuinely great hostel
