I didn't really like it here, but for one night it was fine. Rooms smelt a little, there is only one powerpoint in the room, some of the lockers didn't work, the bathrooms are mixed and kind of dingy (get up early for shower privacy). The breakfast was wonderful though. Had no problems checking in on a Saturday night at the bar, no elevator if that is an issue.
I had a wonderful stay here in Belgrade. Had a tiny issue with my locker that was fixed immediately, met some wonderful people in the garden, and got a really nice feeling from staying here. Staff are helpful and friendly. I was in the 6 bed dorm-- bathroom is nice, beds are sleepable with a curtain for privacy and enough powerpoints.
A warm, happy and clean hostel. It is quite large, so there wasn't the same homey atmosphere enjoyed elsewhere, but the bar/kitchen is nice to hang out in. Has an elevator, good showers, huge storage lockers (bring your own lock). It would be nice if they could give you a decent map (though just wandering around is nice too), that's my only critique!
Staying here is like staying at your cousin's place-- expect facilities like those at a house. The staff are like your cool cousins, the ones that will show you the best places to go on a map when you arrive, and will go out with you at night to find somewhere really cool. A real home like atmosphere, it no longer felt I was travelling on my own! I had a great stay-- the 6 bed room is really tiny, the 8 is much larger and nicer.
