If you want to save money, here is the hostel you've been looking for! Pros: homey, not expensive, free hot breakfast, free lunch (sandwich), fairly clean, fridge and small kitchen available to use. Cons: full metro ride (the whole line) away from Paris centre, weird security (one key per room, doors often unlocked, no lockers, just pray and hide your passport), essentially you live in a Korean lady's basement. Bottom line - I really enjoyed it! But I'm not picky and booked last minute...!

No complaints! 20 min walk to city centre, luggage storage and lockers in the room (bring a , 24 hour reception. Tours and activities even start at the hostel since it so popular. The only weird thing was that the room layout was two bunk beds and a double for mixed genders. It was fine because there was four people and one couple, but I wonder if they would place two strangers (or even just friends) in the same bed.... But that's it. Otherwise awesome.
Hellooo from Brussels! Thanks for the sweet rating! Yes, indeed - our six and four bed rooms have a double bed inside so we could use them for families too. Buuuut all the double beds can actually be pulled apart to make it a twin bed - so we don't force you to kuddel with strangers ;) Hope to see you next time you are in town! Cheers

I guess I have no complaints about this one! Great location for sure, just a 20-30 minute walk to the city centre. There's a luggage storage room and lockers (bring a lock) right in the rooms. My room was mixed with two bunk beds and one double, perfect for 4 strangers and a couple (sharing the double), but would be super weird for 6 strangers. You also have to activate the lights with your keycard...? I think this is a very popular hostel and I have very little to say that's negative

Pros: AMAZING free breakfast (ham sandwich, muesli and yogurt or a hot meal like pancakes), staff even gave me a couple sandwiches when I checked out before breakfast; luggage storage and lockers in the room (bring a lock); mini-restaurant with good grub; super safe and friendly Cons: In the middle of the red light district; drug-free/alcohol-free, so you can't really take advantage of being in Amsterdam without guilt; shared bathrooms grungy; felt guilty about not being Christian

Had very few problems with this hostel - something could be done about the electronic charging situation (not many outlets in the room; since there is only WiFi inn the lobby I took my computer down there, but there was nowhere to charge it), and it was a walk away from the metro and difficult to find. Take note, I didn't mind, but the showers where I stayed are semi-private. (Around a corner, no curtain) Two private, attached toilets were great, though. Despite this, it's a solid hostel!
