Nice, clean hostel with friendly (and very helpful) staff who spoke perfect English. The food served was good and at a reasonable price. Rooms were comfy, however ours only had fans (no aircon) so it did get a bit warm at night. It's the perfect place to stay if you're getting the slow boat to Laos - the staff can book the boat and transfer to the border crossing which is only a short drive away. Would definitely recommend this hostel!

Staff were friendly, room was clean and comfy, laundry service was quick and cheap, free breakfast was free (enough said), good wifi, shower worked well. About 5-10 minute walk to the town centre and it looked like they could book various tours/activities but we didn't use this service. Right by a main road but this wasn't noticeable. However, we did find the city to be limited in terms of things to visit (so don't spend more than a couple of days here) Would recommend the hostel.

Great location next to the beach, right where you want to be. You can get breakfast at the bar when hungover and the drinks are fairly priced. The beds however were rock solid and the blanket provided seemed thinner than tissue paper so I froze on the first night.
