Fabulous location right in the centre of Grassmarket, the prettiest part of Edinburgh in my opinion! Arrived on the wrong night in the middle of the Fringe festival & staff were more than helpful in finding an alternative for me. However, the kitchen is a bit sterile, cold & not an inviting place to eat. The alternative is eating in the hostel's cafe upstairs where you have to buy something to sit there. Also, as the hostel is so large, you feel a bit like a number & it lacks atmosphere.

If you are passing through Timisoara on your travels you cannot miss this place. Raul, the owner is the most friendly and welcoming guy you will ever meet, ensuring your stay is comfortable and fun! The common room, kitchen and outside courtyard are inviting places to meet fellow travellers from around the world and relax, creating a very chilled out environment. You will find a power outlet for each bed and a HUGE locker to guarantee your security. A terrific stay, thank you for everything!!

The staff are definitely the asset of this hostel! It's nice that they are all Serbian and Belgrade locals so have plenty of great tips and will do absolutely anything for you! Unfortunately I was sick during my stay and the staff went out if their way to look after me. The dormitory rooms are very large and the showers are great. Very homely feeling, lots of atmosphere, hard to say goodbye! Thanks Hedonist! :)

Reception was closed when arriving to this hostel which despite being empty was pretty unacceptable. Bathrooms were not clean and I was not advised that the water got turned off at midnight each night. Rooms and beds were extremely small so don't expect any space. I was lucky being the only one in the room! One saving grace was the reception girl was lovely and extremely apologetic and the location couldn't be better, minutes from the old city.

Grat hostel, would definitely recommend to all. Huge beds with curtains, very luxurious reception area and kitchen. Huge lockers & power points for each bed. Located perfectly however street noise can be a problem but didn't affect me greatly as good sleeper. Showers are good but timed so you have to keep pushing for more water every 10 seconds!! Bit annoying. Atmosphere could be better but met great people anyway!

Was only at this hostel for 1 night and checked in at 11pm so didn't really get an opportunity to experience all the facilities. However the room was pretty cramped and quite smelly. Shower was hot and had great water pressure but no space to get out and get dressed! Easy to find, only minutes from the Kelatie train station, staff helpful with directions the next morning. Wash basins and toilets could be cleaner but an ok stay.
