Hostel Split Wine Garden

There were no cooking facilities, no carbonated drinks allowed in the fridge. We staying in a 6 bed dorm now around a week ago and it was cramped! You were struggling to find a place next to your bed to lay your stuff as there were no lockers. The staff were friendly however the cleanliness of the place was poor. Liveable for a night or two but not much longer as you get cabin fever with how cramped the rooms are!!

Rastel hostel is great to stay! A little walk away however I think everywhere is a little roughly! It's roughly around 5 minutes, 2 stops on a tram so it's not far! The staff here were amazing, very helpful and so friendly as it's run by young people! They tell you exactly where to go and they are good places! The cleanliness of this hostel is unreal it was getting cleaned twice a day when we were there! Kitchen facilities are ace too!

Staff are very unfriendly! They also make there workers do 48 hour shifts, which seemed slightly unfair.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Dear Zoe, I don!t think that our staff work 48 hours. The longest shift is 12 hours no more! Working hours are checked by the owner of the hostel. I apologize for our staff being unfriendly to you. We will have a talk to our staff not to be impolite to our guests. Best regards.
