Very close to the train station, but a 10-15 minute walk from beach. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We actually got upgraded from a dorm to a private double room which was so nice (probably due to the fact that we were staying on a weekday and were a couple). The place was very nice and clean. There is a garden terrace where you can sit and hang out and eat food. Also a chill out room which is good for some quiet time. They seemed to have some great events that we couldn't attend. :(
The staff was very helpful with knowledge of the surrounding area and help with museum reservations in Florence. Yes, this place is far away from the city, but the drive is beautiful and a great place to see the Tuscan area! Plus some of the best hostel hang out time since there isn't too much to do in the town at night. Everything was clean and spacious! Only could get wifi in the common area, pay for breakfast (decent) and free computer to use! Definitely come stay here and you won't regret!
This place is on the mainland and is far from the actual city. It is about a 30 min bus ride. The campground was nice for meeting people. Only get WiFi in one spot, have to pay 2 Euro for 5 hours. Cannot use between multiple devices at the same time. Buggy so bring spray or buy. Market has stuff but not much and EXPENSIVE no other market close by. Bathrooms were great considering it was a campground. The shed was what it was, very thin walls!! Smelled old and musty. Price was cheapest found.
The hostel is only a few blocks away from the train station which can get you into the city, that was really nice. The rooms are very spacious and modern. There are lockers in the room, just bring your own lock. The bathrooms were pretty good as well. Wifi only in reception. Locked luggage room that you can use. And the staff is very accommodating with travelers. The patio garden is very nice, but we didn't get to use it :(. The kitchen is very big and spacious as well. Come stay if in Vienna.
This place was quite cute (wall paintings and celing ornaments). The breakfast is not free but for 3 Euro prety good. Only about a 5 min walk to tram that takes you to city center. Surrounding area is a little dirty and grungy. Only get internet in common room. Lots of opportunities to meet people. The staff seemed really busy and couldn't help as much. Wished they had fans in the room as we came it was unbarably hot in the rooms and outside. Showers are dorm like so be prepared. Overall, nice.
Had trouble finding a decently priced place in Amsterdam, this was probably the cheapest--50 Euro each per night. I figure of its a hotel, we wouldnt have to pay per bed. The location is a little outside the city center about a 10-15 minute tram ride and tram stop 5 min walk away (we actually liked it a lot). No free breakfast. (while people raved in the reviews about it, I thought it was mediocre). Cleanliness was alright (bathrooms and room were clean except under bed and things).
This was our first experience to hostel life and I thought this was the best hostel to immerse ourselves into. Free breakfast and awesome! Each person has a key to to their own room. The rooms are a tad small, but no matter. Free linens. Bring your own towel! Really nice and helpful staff--helped us fin a shuttle to the airport. Pretty quiet, but provided free earplugs! Great place--definitely stay. Great location only a few blocks away from Trinity College and Temple Bar area.
