Based on the instructions to the hostel it was a bit hard to find. We stayed in the double bed with a private bathroom and it was great. There was A/C in the room as well as a small fridge. Tea, coffee, and snacks were provided too. Everything was really clean. Overall pretty great!
About a 30 min bus ride away from Venice. The stop is pretty hard to spot and the bus was a bit difficult to locate at first. There were a lot of mosquitoes! You have to pay for WiFi and they sell city maps. The staff was not overly helpful about where to go, what to see, where to eat, etc. We stayed in a tiny shack with 2 beds. It is definitely what you pay for and not too bad for a few night's stay.
Staying at the Groove made Budapest one of our favorite cities. The staff are amazing and they tell you everything you need to know about the city (good food, bars, etc). There was even a pasta night while we were there where Paul made an excellent vegetarian pasta dish. The common room is really well used and the other travellers were very willing to hang out in it too. 10/10 would stay in again!
This hostel was fairly clean on a hill near Prague Castle. The staff were not overly helpful about seeing the sites and recommending any places. The buffet in the morning is worth it though, there are eggs, toast, cereal, bacon, ham, etc. Not really a hostel for meeting people though because there is no real common area.
Vannis Haus was great and very close to easy transit. The place was very clean and it was great to have our own bathroom. Vanni was very helpful with showing us what the main attractions nearby were and how to take the trams as well as good grocery stores. Unfortunately it was difficult to chat with the other travellers as it was less of a dorm/mixed bed setting and the rooms were private. We would definitely stay here again if we ever went back to Berlin!
