I think the stay was alright except for 1 issue. I booked my stay a month in advance and was set to arrive at 9 am. I was there on time but had to keep on ringing the bell for 15 min before somebody came to the door. This might not be a good precedent to set for tired backpackers who may have been traveling for some time. Other than that, there is a small cafe on the ground floor and there isn't quite a common area to meet backpackers. It's possible that I stayed during a low-occupancy period.

I had a really good time. The layout of the hostel is conducive for meeting other backpackers.

I found this hostel to be quite a welcoming place. The hostel facilities are good too, and it added to a relaxing atmosphere.

This was the best hostel stay during the entire trip in Italy. The staff was extremely courteous. In the evening, the owners arranged for a van to take us to and back from their family restaurant. The food was amazing and definitely worth every Euro. Ischia itself is a non-touristy, affordable place to stay, and an excellent alternative to Capri. If I had to repeat my 2 week Italy trip, I would come straight to Ischia and stay at Ring Hostel.

The staff was quite courteous and lively. The only point of concern is the bathrooms - way too small and the showers do not work properly. Everything else was good.

Pros: - Close to the Roman Ruins and Baths of Regina Giovanni - The Resort offers tours to Capri, Positano, and other places at affordable rates - Great view of the Naples bay from the cabin that we stayed at Cons: - Breakfast isn't the best, especially the coffee. - The internet is pay-per-use; a contrast to other hostels where it was free given the price we paid per night. - Everything is cash only.
