A fine stay in one of the twin rooms with a friend. The room didn't feel as clean as it could be and we had to use blankets instead of duvets, which didn't have covers. They had a kitchen though which was open during the day to cook your own meals. In the morning, we were provided with a free breakfast, which was very decent, and was served by a friendly member of staff. The biggest issue was the luggage storage after check out, which was just our stuff put in a hallway, unmonitored.

Snuffel Backpacker Hostel

For Bruges, this hostel is great for young people and it has a nice atmosphere in the bar. Lots of locals go there for a drink. It has everything you need, such as toilets, showers, kitchen etc. but none of them are in the best shape and are really far away from any of the rooms. Also, if you hate spindley stairs, I don't recommend. Bruges is full of old buildings though so I wasn't expecting modern and the hostel itself had a good vibe.

Had an amazing stay here! The staff were all really lovely and joined in conversations with us. A great place to meet people as a solo traveller. There is so much space and it's really easy to cook with an open plan kitchen. Even though it's huge they have made it feel really cosy still. Definitely recommend!

Generator Berlin Mitte

Really enjoyed my stay at the Generator Hostel, which is more like a hotel for young travellers. It is such a big place, with loads of people always around in the bar or cafe. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, showing us where is best to go and what to avoid from a locals point of view. Some small things get missed though. There are only 2 washing and there is no kitchen which can be a struggle. Overall I had an amazing stay with most things being quite easy and relaxing for me.

An amazing way to meet people as a solo traveller! There are nice and open communal spaces, including a spacious outdoor area. The staff are really friendly and helpful, as well as someone being there 24/7. The bar is reasonably priced along with a 2 for 1 happy hour! Had a great experience here, just wish there was a kitchen.

Had an amazing experience here! The staff were really friendly and were interested about my trip. They were helpful about things going on in the city, with lots of posters about good bars, restaurants etc. All the people staying there gave off a good vibe too! Only a 15 minute walk to the train station was very handy with my giant rucksack. Thanks for an amazing stay guys!
