The hostel is fine but that’s about it. We had to wait to check in (after check in time) but had no apology for this. The staff seemed really unfriendly which is a stark contrast from everywhere else we stayed in Mexico. At night it was extremely noisy so hard to sleep and in the morning we were woken up early as there were no curtains in our room only frosted glass windows. The breakfast staff were quite rude. There were no bowls so we had to eat out of mugs. No one seems to socialise.

We booked a private twin room and it’s was enormous- very spacious, clean and good air-con. The shower was good, beds were really comfy and the room was cleaned every day so very good value for money. It didn’t really feel like a hostel - hard to socialise, no one seems to hang out there. Breakfast is pretty bad but there are much better and cheaper places to eat close by. Beaches are a short walk away. If you want a super cheap hotel this place is great but if you want to meet people maybe not.
Thank you very much for your feedback. Rest assure that we take all feedbacks seriously and will do our utmost to improve our facilities and services. It’s been a pleasure to meet you and host you!

Really lovely little hostel with a nice roof terrace and friendly staff. We met some really lovely people and it’s easy to socialise at the hostel. The rooms are quite small and they have packed the beds in so there’s not much space but the beds are comfy and there are curtains for privacy. Breakfast is quite basic but fine.

Absolutely beautiful hostel - great social areas and roof terrace. We stayed in a private room which was really lovely. The photos on Hostelworld really don’t do this place justice - it’s really big and there are a lot of outside spaces which are great for waking up and enjoying the morning sun! Massive big indulgent breakfasts of cakes, pastries and fruit! This place is a bargain!

It’s a really lovely clean and modern hostel with big comfy beds and comfortable sofas and good WiFi. There is a kitchen so you can make food and there is a cupboard with stuff people have left that you can use - I made a big bowl of porridge with peanut butter for my breakfast with the leftovers. There isn’t much around the hostel but it’s a short walk from the beach. It’s nice and quiet at night and I slept well. Having travelled a lot, this was by far the most expensive hostel I’ve stayed in.

Gorgeous place and nice pool but this hostel was seriously lacking in atmosphere. Strangely unsociable and quiet while we were there - guests didn't seem to want to socialise and most people say reading a book or on their phones. Otherwise really nice place with loads of space and two bars. Staff are friendly but service is pretty slow and the reception desk seemed to be closed more than open?

Friendliest staff ever!! Really chilled out and welcoming hostel. Super clean and good facilities. The staff were all amazing and went out of their way to help with anything we asked!

Really fantastic hostel - we went back for an extra night after going down the coast for a few days!

We stayed in the most beautiful little cabin overlooking the cliffs of Sorrento. This isn't a hostel and not somewhere to socialise but if you're ok with that then it is amazing!! Lovely swimming pool, great facilities, you can cook or there's a restaurant and just a short walk into town. I absolutely loved this place!

Super friendly staff who try really hard to organise fun nights and activities. When we were there the other guests didn't seem particularly up for socialising but we had a few great nights - especially in Lapa. The location is great and very easy to get to the beach or around the city. You can probably get more for your money elsewhere - we moved to a cheaper hostel in Santa Teresa after a week which had a pool and was a lot more luxurious!

We moved here from another hostel. Staff don't seem to organise nights out which happened at our first hostel but apart from that couldn't fault this place. Really nice kitchen and chill-out area. Rooms were really comfortable and cool and everything was very clean. I'd definitely stay here again.

I really loved this little hostel - one of my faves from a year of travelling. It may not have the best facilities or the snazziest rooms but it has character and it's a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere as well as a fantastic location. The staff were great at knowing where to go out and I had some of the best nights of my life in my week in Buenos Aires!

It was pretty wild! If you want a good party you'll love it - although having said that, the rooms are very quiet as located on lower floors from social areas and the beds are super comfy. We had a fairly crazy time at Loki - don't expect culture but if you like to drink a lot and want good hangover food the next day this is your place! Only complaint - absolutely terrible wifi! Oh also hopeless travel assistant! Otherwise staff were fab!

One of my favourite hostels ever! Don't expect anything luxurious but it's a sweet place with super fast wifi (the best I experienced in SA oddly!) and really hot showers - trust me you'll want this after the Santa Cruz trek! They also have a proper oven so if you've been travelling for a while and want some proper cooked food you will really appreciate this! We'd got fed up of the unhealthy food in Peru (chips on everything) and dined like kings here with food from the fantastic local market!

Lovely little hostel with very friendly and helpful staff. We booked a dorm room but had it to ourselves. The kitchen is fairly big and has everything you need, it's just a couple of mins walk into town. Only complaint was that there's no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands and there's also no toilet paper - if you want to use toilet paper you have to buy a roll at reception, I found this a bit weird?!

Probably the coolest hostel I've ever stayed in. Absolutely gorgeous little cabins right on the beach. It's a small place so you get to know all the guests and it's a really friendly atmosphere. Everyone we met had extended the stay here, and we ended up adding extra nights twice! Could have stay for a very long time! Only one little complaint - mosquito nets over the beds would just make this place perfect, I did get bitten a lot at night. Otherwise all amazing.
Yup we are pretty cool hahaha! I'm sure you will return at one point also we will look into the mosquito nets! much love the misfits x

For the price, it's a really good deal. However, it's an odd place - checking in was a bit difficult as they seemed a bit confused about our booking and we ended up sharing a room and then were moved the next day as aparently we'd been put in the wrong room. The whole place could do with a bit of work, it feels a bit unclean and the bathroom walls were covered in mould. There was no toilet paper or soap provided and the soap I put in the bathroom was removed after just a few hours?!

Very sweet little place, we booked a twin room and it was lovely! There were hummingbirds flying about outside our window and the river running past made it feel like you were in the jungle! Great shower and comfy beds. No complaints!

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The actual place is really beautiful. The common area is full of massive comfy sofas with an amazing view of Quito. There's loads of space to hang out and it's easy to meet people. The kitchen is massive and has everything you need to cook. The beds are incredibly comfy and there's loads of space for all your things, as well as lockers, and all beds have plug sockets. Staff are really friendly and helpful. There's also a movie room with loads of DVDs!

Great hostel with loads of very helpful info on the walls - every hostel should have bus times/advice! Fantastic and very reasonable breakfast :) we did the bike trip through the hostel which was also a fantastic day.

Beautiful hostel with the most amazing breakfasts and lovely staff. The nightly bonfire was a great place to chill out and the kitchen was really well equipped. The only little problem was that it was very difficult to find a socket anywhere which was a little annoying and bathroom doors were difficult to lock. Not really problems though - I'll definitely be back!

Amazing hostel with the most incredible rooftop bar - feels like a very expensive upmarket bar! It's very chilled out during the day and fun at night. It was very noisy at night in our room so if you're wanting an early night could be a problem. Also a pretty tiny kitchen and our food was stolen from the fridge which was pretty small, if the kitchen was a little bigger this would be the perfect hostel!

Great hostel with very friendly staff and the sweetest little hostel dog! Nice atmosphere, big kitchen and plenty of communal areas to hang out. Only stayed one night but would definitely stay there again if back in Bogota :)
