Security was pretty good, although no one seemed to be able to close the door to our room properly so it kept opening. Woke up in the morning to find it open, so I am glad the security was good elsewhere. The staff were really great and very helpful. Cleanliness wasn't the best, my sheets were stained, as were others in my room. The shower, toilet and sink were all separated - shower in one room, toilet in another and sink in our bedroom. Has a good lounging area w/ pool and computers to use.

We were located just off the main street of the Old Town, so in a great area. The floor & mainly bathroom stunk when we arrived, and remained to until the next day when somebody must have come to clean it. Really revolting, but think this was probably a one-time thing as smell never came back for rest of stay. it had a tiny TV, good wifi and a bowl of sweets. The staff were really helpful, didn't speak fantastic English but nothing a bit of patience couldn't overcome.

This is the nicest looking hostel I've stayed in. It's located in the Old Town and has bars and restaurants very close by. You also have the option to order a homemade dinner with the hostel. The room had air con in, which was needed as you need to shut the shutters & windows at night in order to keep the noise out from the echo-y streets (this would be the case staying anywhere in the Old Town).

The staff here are really amazingly friendly. They give you a welcome drink on arrival and are always there to help you if needed. When you first enter the main door to the building, don't panic, it looks like you're in a manky old hole, but it gets much better when you get up to the actual hostel. The kitchen we had was a bit old and the oven didn't work, but other than that everything seemed fine. Worst thing was our window let in no light, so were always waking up in the dark :-(

Right next to the train station. I didn't feel 100% safe in this hostel. Anyone can walk through the hostel to by the rooms, then it's just the door between you and whoever, and the windows next to the door open pretty wide... The staff were mostly excellent but there was one woman who just had absolutely no idea what she was doing and kept messing things up. The hostel has a bar & has somewhere next door where you can play pool or use their computers & has a giant outdoor chess set.

Hostel right next to Prague castle, a short walk from Charles Bridge and the rest of Prague. Stayed in a 6 bed room, which was split into two rooms of 3..a bit inconvenient as a lot of people travel in pairs so you are likely to be in a different room than your buddy. There was also only one toilet and shower between us which got a bit hectic in the mornings. The staff were friendly and the wifi was fine. The lockers weren't very big; if you have a big bag you will have to store under the bed.

This is a well placed hostel, next to a metro station so easy to get everywhere needed. The WomBar upstairs was great and has a happy hour (AND you get a free drink on arrival!). This is a really great hostel for meeting people and has a party atmosphere, so I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want something a bit quieter. The place was clean, but on our second day while we were out the cleaners took the sheets off the wrong beds and left us dirty sheets (easily fixed) but a bit annoying.

This was one of the nicer places we stayed during our trip, although I wouldn't recommend staying here if you struggle with stairs. It was clean, breakfast was good and free and the staff were friendly. There was a slight mix-up with my booking, but this was sorted quickly and easily. The location was the only slight let down, as everything we wanted to do was on the other side of the river, but if you don't mind walking (or have a car) this isn't really a major issue.

The hostel is right next to the central train station & the cathedral, so is in a great place. The staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. If you like a lot to eat at breakfast it will get expensive as you have to buy each individual piece of food/drink. The lockers aren't in the rooms, but in the corridors. They are watched by cctv, but that didn't really give me complete piece of mind. The bathrooms were clean but a bit stinky. The rooms are quite small and don't give much privacy.
