Agora Hostel and Guesthouse

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at throughout the world. I was unwell when I was there and the staff even came with me to hospital and brought me food in bed after I was discharged! The location was excellent, the rooms were spacious with great storage, the rooftop terrace was nice, and the included breakfast was good. Only thing that would've made it better would've been laundry facilities on site. Totally recommend this hostel

Quite a long way from Split - took me 40 mins from the port and it was hard to find someone on the bus who spoke English who could help me get the right stop. No signage at the place either or a visible road number so can be tricky. Place wax nice though. There's no free breakfast despite it being on their website

Unfortunately the hostel world website let me book even though there was no room at the hostel. The hostel offered to arrange accommodation nearby. I thought they meant another hostel but it ended up being an old woman's house. She didn't speak English so it was quite awkward. If I'd realised I would've just booked my own accommodation elsewhere. Hostel split seemed like an awesome place though. I waited there for somewhere to come get me and take me to the other place. Wished I could stay there
