Third time staying here in the last 9 years. Wouldn't stay anywhere else! Safe (cameras inside and outside), clean bathrooms, chill vibes (not uptight nor crazy partying noise), and full kitchen with free pancakes every morning. The parking situation was less than ideal this time because of construction, but I believe in place of the construction will be a parking garage right across the street. Also, the bed was a lot more comfortable this time; they had some remodeling done.

This hostel was great overall. Clean room and bathroom, great common areas, awesome free breakfast, good vibes from staff. It is motel-style, which made me nervous at first, but after a night I felt comfortable. (The locks on the doors are secure, and the staff regularly changes the codes. And there are security cameras.)

Second time staying here. Very comfortable beds, great security, central to everything on the island, clean private bathrooms. Excellent!

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Bar and restaurant downstairs with a really nice server, beaitutiful ambiance, high quality breakfast (coconut yogurt, yum!). The room had a locker but you have to provide your own lock. The bed was comfortable and I had my own outlet and nightlight. The bathroom was so nice, clean, pretty lighting. Soap was even provided. Staff were friendly.

This is a beach hostel! Be ok with no AC during the day. At night it got cool enough to sleep well. It's about 8 blocks from the bus stop. Soooo close to the beach. The owner Wilson is nice and wants to make you feel comfortable. The lockers were big and came with a key. Front desk was there 24 hours a day, so it's good to leave your key with them when you go out. Fridge at the front desk for quick essentials. Great restaurants next door and a few stores over. Nice pool!

The house is beautiful, built in the 1800s. Sean, the owner, is very kind and hospitable. And the staff are very fun and helpful. This hostel is unlike others in that the staff really try to include you in events to make sure you have a great time! They recommend daily places to go eat and see. The location you can't beat! Right next to the quarter, and I felt very safe at night. Also Sean has a bike you can borrow, which I highly recommend. The bed was so comfortable. Very clean.
Thanks for your review. Glad that you enjoyed time with us. Come back anytime and I will make sure the bike is good running!

This hostel is amazing! They do airport pick up in addition to providing a driver to any place you need. Also other excursions that you can purchase (nights in the dessert with Bedouins, Luxor/Aswan). Breakfast is simple, but the location is so central that there are restaurants all around. The hostel is in the heart of downtown and the metro is just 3 blocks away. But what really makes this place great is the STAFF! Thank you Ahmed, Hadeer, Samir, and Migo for taking care of us!! Stay here!!

Kitchen, breakfast, wifi, beds, bathrooms all great. HANDSOAP available! Thank you AB for that. The location is perfect. You can walk to all the archEological sites from here or catch the metro literally around the corner. Efroseenee on the roof top bar was hospitable and friendly. And she shared a lot of cool Greek facts! The view from the roof is incredible, the acropolis! Free ouzo shot on the roof! Stay here!! Thank you AB!!

Bed comfortable, wifi great throughout hostel, AC in room. Breakfast available but not included and there's no kitchen, so you have to eat out the whole time. But that's ok because there are great restaurants near by. Check out La Romana Gelaterria for creamy gelato with fresh whipped cream on top, and Pinsere, a stop and go pizza joint with amazing ingredient combinations for 4.50 euros per personal pizza. Hostel very close to station and metro, and airport shuttle. Would stay here again!

The front desk guy was really helpful in planning day trips, local food, etc. Rooms, bathroom, Breakfast were good. Really close to the station and this cheap pizza place called dog out down the corner, opposite side of street from the hostel. Two euros a slice! And one night in hostel they had free pasta dinner. Only complaint was the noise at night. Bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper because you need to open the balcony for cool air. Overall great value! Would stay here again.

I stated earlier that a diff hostel was my favorite, but I left that comment before I got to this one. This hostel is uniquely beautiful, free breakfast variety, fresh delicious dinners for 1 freaking euro, nice patios. You really feel like you're in Florence at this hostel. Arches, statues everywhere, artwork on walls. 5 min walk to station, supermarket, duomo, even a travel agency across the street to exchange cash at a rate way better than the train station. AC in rooms. Stay here!!

This place was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast not included and too expensive for being a hostel.

Fully stocked kitchen, super clean bathrooms, nice common areas, very easy to reach by metro, free city tour, free wifi, but no free breakfast. Definitely would stay again.

The staff was always smiling and friendly. Very close to HBF station! Clean, simple, and safe as the room doors only opened with electronic key. Breakfast and wifi were not free but purchasing them individually still kept you under 25 euro a night. Excellent value. Would definitely stay here again.

This was probably my favorite hostel so far out of 12 around Europe. I had just come from a dirty hostel in Venice, and it was an enormous relief to stay at Meininger Munich. Very clean bathrooms with soap, bedding was very comfortable, breakfast though not free was fantastic. Free city tour, free wifi, towels available for rent. Loved this place.

Downside: No breakfast, no kitchen, unlocked door. Perks: free wifi. location was good, five euro pasta dinner rocked, great dinner table for people to chat at while they eat, free to use washer but no dryer. Though the staff was really accommodating and cooperative about it, I have to mention that this hostel had a serious bed bug infestation when I was there. They did refund me fully even for the nights I stayed, and it isn't their fault, but it was a problem that needs to be taken care of.

Breakfast not included, my room was facing inside of courtyard where there was a lot of scaffolding and the curtain was missing so I felt visible to everyone in the reception and anyone else looking in from the center of the building. Wifi was good and free. Close to Milano Centrale station and corso buenos aires for shopping. Just stayed here one night because of its proximity to train station. Would not recommend it for more than one night because it's away from all the main attractions.

This place was very close to the amazing sea. The 3 euro spaghetti dinner was a fantastic way of meeting people plus it was delicious and cheap. Kitchen, rooms, bathroom were all good. Staff was great, except one guy was rude when I was having an issue with the electronic key card unlocking my door. And my dress that I left on my bed disappeared my last day there when I was out for a couple of hours. Could easily have been a hostel mate, but maybe the cleaning staff so lock everything up.

Wifi was not free, breakfast was minimal with three free chocolate croissants, the key rule was annoying (one key per room, not per person so you had to knock if your roommates were in your room with the key.) I stayed here because it is right next to Gare de Lyon station, and fifteen minute walk to quai St. Bernard on the river where there was free tango every night. Also other kinds of dance there. Also, easy to get to main attractions from this hostel. And cheap food right around this hostel.

I recommend to stay here when you first get to Paris, and then go to another hostel closer to the Seine River and all the main attractions. The neighborhood is so chill and beautiful. The hostel was clean, lots of left over bread from free breakfast, so you can buy salami and cheese from any grocery store and you have lunch and dinner every day. Wifi free but it only worked in the reception area. Would stay here again!
