This hostel was amazing, the only bad thing is the stairs, however I was lucky enough to stay on the 3rd floral whereas my friend stayed on top floor so if you have heavy baggage once you book the hostel send them an email trying to request a room on the lower grounds. Staff very friendly, towels available for free, you can borrow anything for a deposit that will be returned once you return the item, breakfast is free (cereal and bread) it's on the boarder of Hyde perk and a 2min walk to tube
This hostel was disgusting. I only stayed here one night and purely for the location as I had a tour the next day down the road. When I arrived the staff who checked me in Weren't helpful at all. The place is a maze, they have 3 tiered bunk beds (not shown in the photos) you make your own bed, toilets are difficult to find and are disgusting, there are hardly power points, none for the bunk beds so you have to sit outside the dorm or In the common area, this is not a youth hostel.
The hostel is very easy to find now, they have a great big sign out the front so don't worry about that from the other reviews. The dorms are nice with lockers for backpacks only though, above the beds are personal lights with a power point. The location is great, took me 5mins from the bus station. Upon arriving the staff weren't the friendliest. There are only 2 showers for the whole hostel and only one female toilet
Most of the staff are very friendly, only one let down the rest of them, he seemed to be fed up with dealing with young backpackers who are obviously there for a good time. Everything else was sound, the bathrooms could use some improving and sometimes the quilts were a little spiky
We had only booked 2 days but ended up staying 3, the hostel is in a great location, and the staff are so friendly (and speak English) and are always willing to go out of their way to help, I would definitely recommend staying here
