Hostel Van Gogh

Hostel Van Gogh is a very pretty hostel. It is located next to the van gogh museum. It is not far away from anything, everything is in walking distance. . Also, for me it was perfectly located because it is not in the middle of the Red Light District chaos. The hostel looks like a hotel so it is very nice and clean. There is wifi and towels are available for no charge. I would certainly recommen this hostel.

I would not recommend this hostel. I went in the summer and Rome has unnatural heat. The hostel says it has air conditioning but its ONLY in the lobby. Due to this we had to sleep with the window OPEN and it is next to a main, busy road. BRING EARPLUGS IF YOU STAY HERE. The wifi is also ONLY in the lobby and its not a big lobby where everyone can sit. The kitchen has all needed but they shut down the stove gas in the mornings until 3pm so you have their 3euro breakfast. Not for me.

My stay at this hostel exceeded expectations. The hostel is very clean and the staff is beyond friendly. Since it is not too big, everyone that stays there is very friendly and tries to know everyone. The cleanliness also exceeded expectations. The only problem was that there is no stove, but that can be replaced with the microwave and a electric pot to boil water. Over all a great hostel, i recommend it! :)
