The staff were very friendly and the facilities were nice, including a large and well-equipped kitchen and public bathrooms that offered a lot of individual privacy. The location was convenient and very close to the metro, if a little noisy at night. I generally enjoyed the social atmosphere, except when a couple sharing a twin bed in my dorm woke me up with whispering and smooching at 3:30 a.m.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The other guests were friendly but respectful, and the atmosphere was more laid-back than partylike. The dorms I stayed in were newly renovated and the beds were clean and comfortable. The rooms were warm in February. My only complaint was that there were only 2 toilets on the floor I was staying on, which was occasionally a problem. (With 3 showers, I never had to wait for a shower.)

We liked it here, although it was pricier than the other hostels we'd stayed it. We decided to splurge for our last 3 nights in Athens and it was totally worth it. We loved Exarcheia - it didn't feel sketchy at all, even very late at night, and all the rebetiko bars we wanted to go to were close by. The four-person dorm was huge and beautiful, with the roomiest, most private hostel beds I've ever slept in. The bathroom was similarly gorgeous and huge. And the service was amazing.

We liked the neighborhood - a ten-minute walk via the city wall to a corner with a few good restaurants, and a twenty-minute walk to the sights in the lower town. We stayed in the four-person private room, which was comfortable enough. The door was pretty hard to unlock, and the floor was a little sticky, but the view over the old city and to the sea was amazing. The common facilities were nice, although they closed at 11 p.m. Overall it was a very good value for the money.

Cozy location in a beautiful hutong - three-minute walk to well-serviced bus stop, fifteen-minute walk to bus stop. We were a lesbian couple staying in a private double - got no trouble from the staff about sharing a bed. The only downsides: our room had no window to the outdoors (only to the hallway), and hot water was limited because we were there during the coldest weekend in decades. (Not the hostel's fault!)

So... I don't know how best to say this, but they had bedbugs. They were nice about it and offered to let us switch from the dorm to a private room at no cost, but they seemed pretty at a loss at what to do about the bedbugs. I think Americans are prone to get hysterical about bedbugs and I appreciated the relative calm of the other guests, but I was freaking out a bit.

Have a bug because Guangzhou lasted (for) a month of rain.We have already put the bug off.

This place was great! Very close to the metro, easy to get to the airport by public transportation, although a tiny bit tricky for my cab driver to find coming from the airport. The staff were helpful and friendly, the place is beautiful and cozy, and the dorm did not feel cramped and was very comfortable.

This hostel was great! In a really fun area, walking distance to bars, grocery stores, restaurants, parks, and markets. The staff were very helpful and the common areas were great. We stayed in a six-bed dorm which was clean and comfortable.
