Ostello Bello Bagan, Bagan, Myanmar

There's a reason it's at the top of the listings. Very good hostel in Bagan and nothing to complain about. Always stuff happening and plenty of fellow travelers to meet. When not traveling by yourself you might find better value for money in nearby hotels though.

Lovely new hostel in Yangon. The best points here are the cleanliness and the very helpful staff. There's certainly a reason for the good reviews it gets! The beds might be a little short if you happen to be tall and soap by the sinks would be appreciated. That's only nitpicking though...

Stayed with two people in a twin room downstairs (they also have one upstairs, where we stayed at another night, but the one downstairs is nicer) and have no complaints. Clean room, plenty of pillows, comfortable bed, small lockers. Also plenty of power outlets...we enjoyed our stay!

Stayed that night in the four bed male dorm on the ground floor, the room is perfectly fine, air conditioner working great, bed comfortable. Since Kota Kinabalu is pretty small, there really is no place too far to reach by foot. Breakfast is nothing to wrote home about, but not complaining for what I paid.

Honestly, the only really good thing about this hostel is its location. Located riverside right in Gamla Stan. We were first assigned a room in the basement. A room, in which the window cannot be opened. We then moved to a room next door, where the window could slightly be opened if you are tall and flexible and would like to climb a bit through the room. Cleanliness exists only superficially. We were aware beforehand of staff not being always around and of only two restrooms - no issues there.

I only stayed of a night and in this hostel due to the proximity of the Los Heroes station, where the bus to the airport leaves from. Due to my short stay I can't say much...the hostel is fairly big, even the large rooms have a private feel to them though, Beds are comfortable, power outlets are everywhere. Having to put sheets on and taking them off (even if you leave in the middle of the night and might wake others) is a bit annoying. Overall I'd stay longer, though!

The shower-issue has been discussed, so I won't pick up on that. Other than that it was a very enjoyable stay, great staff as well. They give out keys to the room, a locker, the hostel itself - I felt very safe during the entire stay. I just couldn't eat any more white bread for breakfast, but that's Chile for you! ;-) One of the few places I would go back to!

Nice and spacious hostel to stay in Bellavista. Breakfast could be better and a bit larger, it also wasn't available for very long, only about an hour. The upper bunks have no sideway protection, which makes falling out a possibility. Nevertheless, very clean and a nice place to stay, a good place to go out and party - although not a party hostel.

Good place to meet fellow travelers, the breakfast is also really good (although a bit late starting at 9...). The bathrooms could be a bit nicer and it would be appreciated, if not as much weed was smoked by the staff... Nevertheless a very enjoyable stay in a good hostel. I would recommend the 6-bed room over the 4-bed room due to the location of the room (not as noisy).
