One of the best hostels I have stayed! Ewe was very friendly and provided a lot of insightful suggestions. The breakfast was nice. It was very clean. Super recommended!

The staffs are very helpful and give me nice advice. The location is good, where you can easily access all the spots and supermarket. The only problem is the club across street is very loud from Thursday to Saturday. But you can ask the staff for eardrums. In general, it's a nice hostel, only you need some luck to meet good hostel mates.
Thank you very much buddy! Yes we know the club in front can cause a little difficulty, but you did great to ask for earplugs :) See you later! Essential Team

Andrew is really nice and helpful! Love the cozy bed. The location is great, easy to find famous street foods in town. Strongly recommend!

The hotel did pick us up when we arrive. We booked 2 beds in 4 bed female dorm, at first they send us to a 6 beds mixed dorm with aweful smell. After arguing, they send us to the female dorm which is very tiny and looks like haven't cleaned up after last guest checked out. We asked for air-con controller, but the owner said because the room is only 2 of us, so no air-con, even the second night comes a new girl, still no air-con! We need to keep the window open but the noise and wasted gas sucks!

It's an awesome hostel with clear and nice facility. The best part is the lounge, great place to meet people. The location is quite good, it takes 10 mins from Kyoto station.
