Love this place. Very close to bus station. I walked to old town and back every day and saved tons of money. Clean place, strong air-con during hot summer, fast wifi and well equipped kitchen. Feels like home away from home but with lots of interesting backpackers hanging around. Anchi and her family are very nice and friendly. Would definitely go back.

Once you open the front door, you are part of the family. We went on the tour (including going to Blagaj, Počitelj, Kravice waterfall, Međugorje) and was absolutely amazing and totally worth it. They just treat us like we are like their family members. This is basically a home away from home. Many of us traveling solo just met there and ended up going to Mostar all together. Definitely one of the best hostels ever stayed!

Walk from bus station/ferry port is 1.4km, 20 mins and a bit uphill. I got there late at night, oddly somebody already checked in under my reservation and that night was fully booked. Things did sort out in the end and they apologized to me a million times. Apart from that, the hostel itself is great. Met some great people, had a good night sleep, and chilled around the common room during the day.

Best hostel in Plitvice. Look nowhere else. Tips: get there before dark, the hostel is in the middle of nowhere (part of the security and the ultimate experience for being in the nature), ask Leo where and how to access to the best view, ask him which trail is the best is not the right question (they are all good), stock your food before you get there, in terms of making your own dinner: barbecue is more preferred than making pasta, always. For Asians: convince Leo get a rice cooker next season.

Booked for 3 nights ended up staying for 6. Stayed at ace of spades and chilled out on the terrace and common room at castle. Great place if you want to meet other travelers. Well equipped and spotless clean kitchen. Supermarket just one minute away. Extremely friendly and helpful staff from different countries, they know exactly what they are doing, smart people. Free tour to the gorge and viewpoint was really nice and beautiful. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

More of a student flat than a hostel. Not much of interaction with other people staying there because most of them are students studying there. Well equipped and spotless clean. 15-20 mins walk to most of the sightseeing spots, abt 30 mins walk to train/bus station. Stay here if you want a quiet retreat.

They give you clean sheets when you check in. Bunk with curtains give you some privacy. Wifi fast enough. Hostel staff with great vibe and so are the people who stay there. Easy to make friends. They arrange drinking games every night but if you just want some rest it's possible just chill in your room as well. :)

The Egyptian manager is a gem. He's hilarious. Shuttle bus to/from Petra helps a lot. The view from the rooftop is really beautiful. I accidentally left some stuff there, but with a few phone calls he quickly arranged people delivery them from Petra to Amman. And I got them right before l left Jordan. I'm really thankful for that.

The Australian lady and her husband were really nice. Location is great, you can walk to the train station or Luxor temple. There's a sugar cane juice shop at the corner when you enter the alley to the hostel that you don't need to bargain. It's same price for both locals and foreigners. Meanwhile the grocery shop next to the hostel double the price for everything (even a bottle of water). The hostel itself is very clean. Wifi works and so is the hot shower.

The management team are really nice Egyptians and they can give you all kinds of information upon where to go in Egypt, best places to eat in Cairo. And they really like to draw all kinds of maps. The hostel is very simple but good enough in Egypt. It's a great value for money in the mean time don't expect too much from it. But everything you need as a budget backpacker is equipped.

Stayed here in sep 2014 for over a week. Here used to be a hotel and they turned it into a hostel. Arrived exhausted passed midnight after a long overnight train ride and without reservation, the staff immediately put us in a comfy room. We took a private room and it was more than we expected: with our own bathroom, tv, couch and table. They did the room service everyday and the room was spotless clean. Onsite managers were cool young people and took us to a delicious local restaurant nearby.

Stops Varanasi is the best hostel I've stayed in so far all around the world. I stayed in the tent in 2014 Nov. It was like having my own private room. Their common area is spacious, public kitchen, speed wifi, hot showers, huge rooftop you can do your laundry. The best part is the breakfast time, chai time, and all kinds of tours everyday for a little bit of money. You can always find people to hang out with or simply just join the tour. You'll never ever get bored staying there.

I stayed with them in 2014. Sep. It's the best place in Kathmandu to meet backpackers and trekkers. Wifi worked. Hot shower on the first floor worked the best. Asking them to do the laundry was somehow very difficult, they always told us it was full. The rooftop common area is really awesome. I recommend all of the friends to stay there if they're going to Kathmandu. I hope they're doing well after the earthquake. #prayfornepal

Dorm rooms downstairs are damp and cold, shower rooms are like that as well and kind of dark. They arrange dumpling night which was quite fun. Can skip the restaurant, food is expensive and not tasty. The noodle shop a couple of hundred meters down the road to the left of the premises is a gem, cheap and tasty, opens early in the morning till late at night.
