Only stayed one night. It was ok, room was an 8 bed but top bunks didn't have any power sockets. Blankets were soft & pillows good with spacious bed. Breakfast was nice got to choose what you wanted. Bathroom smelt but might be roommates rather than cleaners lol Would stay again!

Got here at 5am on nightbus. We paid to have breakfast and went in pool whilst room cleaned. They could do with a sofa or beanbags to hang out on as otherwise it's only a table and chairs Room nice, nice not to have a bunk bed (4-dorm) cleaned everyday. Breakfast a good selection, need bigger cups! Pool was clean and again no where to sit (it's inside) Staff so helpful, they even sent me a package of something I'd forgotten to Hue thanks again Ngọc Hằng!! Booked easy rider, would stay again!

Nice hostel, close to bus drop off and few places to eat near with a fruit market and a KFC haha 8 bed dorm, beds are really big and comfy, get pillow sheet and a towel which is nice Clearly a lot of rooms so it's social downstairs, only had breakfast but was nice Staff members were being trained on Monday and everyone was trying to check out so took quite a while. But the main girl was super helpful for us Also shared Tuktuk to killing fields through hostel so that's good if you're alone

Stayed in the aircon dorm, when we turned up loads of hungover people were in our room to cool down. Bit weird lol Room really big and each bed had a mosquito net. Two showers one toilet. Super clean Didn't eat at hostel only had a drink as cheaper local food on main road. Good location if you just want to flop on the beach. Main bit of Otres beach is closer to SV, bit of a walk but we were happy Would stay here again Be better if it had free breakfast ;) haha

Really nice hostel, we had a private double with en-suite, had two fans in the room but was still really warm, bed a bit firm (but I was ill for two days so laid in it a lot (not ill from hostel)) The staff were helpful and offered to make me rice porridge as I was ill. My friend did the rooftop yoga and ventured into the close by town for food & browsing Food really nice, staff super friendly but one of the hardest pub quiz's ever! Also a free drink when you arrive Enjoyed our stay, thanks!

We had a double room as cheaper than two bunks. Small bed but had mosquito net, a fan and a balcony with a hammock Was your usual beach town hostel. Had a nice roof bit to relax and there was loads of breakfast/snacks you could order. We rented snorkels to go swim with sardines (just walk to Chillis and swim out 15m) Shared bathroom didn't have a flush and showers are all downstairs, no shoes allowed anywhere. 2 nights was the right amount, but people we met stayed a week or more!

We stayed one night to go swim with the sharks. Does the job if that's all you're after -as you're the first to go on the water. Only a few fans in the room so really hot nights sleep, and the ceiling doesn't reach the roof so can hear people outside or next door chatting Location was good, bars/cafes nearby and you can get to the small waterfalls easily enough. Don't expect the world and you won't be disappointed!

Really nice hostel! Brand new so everything's really clean. Really spacious bunk beds, with own lights and plugs. You have draws under the beds which are a bit awkward at times but fine. Most people are up early to go on the day trip to Apo (you can book with them) Showers were really strong and clean Good wifi and communal area with nice breakfast and drinks Bit out of the way but tricycle is v.cheap There was a power outage coz of a storm but not their problem, had a few lights on generator

Really good location. We were in 10 bed dorm, each of the bunk beds has a curtain around it or some privacy which is nice. But no lock on the main door so the lockers were helpful. Breakfast is really good, the pancakes are 😍 delicious. There was a power outage but it was fine Showers are in the toilet cubicle and seemed weird/ small unclean so used outside showers. Wifi doesn't work at all. Had to book for flights at Art Cafe at travel desk We did Tour A and booked at reception. Great fun

Really good location, walk through the main road to get to the beach, supermarket and La Favela. The room itself is really nice, the beds are separate like pods so feels more private, with own lights plugs and shelves. The two places to eat either side are really nice. The pool is a good size too, but not much room to sit around it, about 6/7 loungers but it wasn't overly busy at any point anyway. Free hot &cold drinking water Showers and toilets clean just needed toilet roll sometimes

New regulations means only 3 people to a room so we had a private room for price of dorm. The pool was great and not too busy. The location is a bit far out but we sacrificed that in favour of the pool. It's 15min walk to the main bars and 5-10 to sunset beach with all the swings. You can hire bikes but we didn't just walked. The bathroom was really clean, and so were our rooms. Lockers for valuables and the door locks anyway Wifi broke Don't expect a big party vibe, would stay again!

We arrived and there was only 4 of us in the hostel so we all got bottom bunks, small lockers for valuables. The place itself is in the best location, and it's big and open so you can hang out in the living room. It does need a bit of an overall clean just for cobwebs, bugs etc. But sheets and things were all clean. We chatted to the owner for an hour or so and he was super friendly and helpful for places to go, where to eat and our train back to Colombo Would stay here again!

We booked mixed but it was overbooked so had to go in female dorm. The rooms are all in a line and the there's a big gap between the wall and the ceiling so you can hear everyone chatting. Lots of space to dry your clothes which is great as by the beach. Beach was a 10 min walk, big draws under the beds for your bags which is good, mosquito nets too The shower doors aren't solid you can see through them so it's pretty weird, have to use your towel to cover up

The hostel is in a great location, we were after the girls dorm but ended up in the 14 bed mixed bedroom, which wasn't a problem as it was only ever half full, facilities are at the end of the 14-bed dorm, so probably a pain for the girls dorm upstairs. However you don't get a sheet which covered the mattress and no hand soap. Security is a locked door so he has to let you in & out each time. He arranged tuk tuk for us and had prices of attractions. Left early as nothing to do in Kandy

We stayed here for the night before heading to Kandy. We started to walk the trip but as it was about9pm we got a tuk tuk for the other half of the journey (150 rupees) Staff were helpful and gave us juice as we arrived. They also helped us with train times for our departure the next day. We were given towels and bedding and shown where breakfast would be served. There is a man at the door and desk at all times so security is good, the rooms lock with a key card Overall, enjoyed but expensive
