Was there for 3 nights and had a really pleasant stay, great overall atmosphere. My main concern was my luggage (had a lot of valuables with me) but security was pretty good about that. It's not the nicest looking part of Madrid but the major attractions are a short walk/metro ride away. Would definitely recommend and stay here again myself!

Stayed one night in the four person room. The place is nice, super quiet (only room for 12 people total) and seems like a good place if you need to stay for a long time. Location was not perfect, you have to walk around to the back of what seems like an empty building, and it's too far to walk to the city center, but if you are okay with an approx. 15 minute tram ride into the city I would recommend staying here. Wish the wifi would have worked better though...

Stayed for 3 nights with a friend, excellent staff, very nice breakfast, and good facilities. You can rent out board games and guitars/ukeleles for free and they serve alcohol there too! Also ask for a room that looks out at the Sacré Cœur! Only a couple disappointments were that you can only use wifi on one device, and some of the events advertised don't run in the offseason, but other than that our stay was wonderful and I definitely would come back!
Bonjour, Thank you for your nice review on HW. We do apologise for the lack of communication about events. We kept the cheese and deli tasting evenings, they have a lot of success and are happy to share and let our guest discover french products. For the wifi, even if we developed it this year, if all our guests are using it in many devices it will not work properly. I hope that we'll have the pleasure to welcome you again. Best Regards, Laëtitia, Manager

Luca's hospitality was very appreciated. In a city where many people are rude/unhelpful, it was nice to have Luca there to tell us the best places to go and offer advice. His place is a little out of the way of the city center but not terrible. My major complaint would be the lack of Wifi accessibility while there, but Luca did try everything he could to accommodate us, setting up a hotspot for us. Two nights max is all you'll need in Venice but I definitely recommend this place!

Stayed only for one night in the 10 person room. Unfortunately didn't get to stay long and check out the facilities, but seemed like a great place to stay for an extended period of time. Unfortunately I didn't like the fact that there was little room to walk around in the 10 person room, and there wasn't much security for putting your stuff away. However, the staff was funny, friendly and helpful and it was a good atmosphere overall

Only stayed for one night, probably wouldn't have been able to stay for a second. The area is so tiny, beds are uncomfortable and this is coming from someone who normally has no problem sleeping anywhere. Showers were so small and only had two temperatures, scolding hot and freezing cold. nothing in between. Location however is great so if you're only doing one night it's a good deal for the price you pay (warning: there is a tax that is not on hostel world you will have to pay)

Stayed in the 12 person room in a group of 10 people for two nights. Overall the staff was great and helpful if you knew Spanish (they knew very little English). Very close to the older part of valencia and we took a metro to the beach both days. Negatives: The room got DIRTY by the end of our stay, and we did see a giant cockroach on the first night. Also the ads said it was a youth hostel but there were older people there tooWould recommend to anyone younger but only for a short period of time
Thank you for sharing your opinion. Best regards.
