Wow! This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in yet, and I've been in and out of hostels this entire year. Great check in with a staff member who gave us a map and explained more than everything we needed to know, incredible facilities (kitchen, bar area, library, recreation room, smoke room), and beautiful rooms with private bathrooms and balconies. The hostel breakfast was one of the best hostel breakfasts, also. Definitely book this place to stay!

This was a really nice hostel. The only negative was that it was a pretty long walk to get anywhere. The closest landmark is the Guggenheim building that´s still a 16 minute walk and you need to take the metro (a few blocks away) to the old town or other areas. But for the price, it was a really good room, there was a good bathroom, and it was great to have the breakfast included.

I just needed a quick stay on my way up to the north of Spain, and although I wasn´t here for very long, it was a great vaue for money. The woman who runs the hostel was so sweet to me and stayed late to wait for my train to arrive. Don´t expect anything glamorous, but if you are in town for a night and need a bed this place is perfect.

This is the place you should stay in Granada. It was recommended to us by friends and we were not disappointed. The location (although you need to walk up a hill) is in a beautiful area right on the street with all the bodegas, all of the staff is so friendly and knowledgable, the atmostphere is amazing (three hamocks and three hours of laying in the sunshine/breeze), and they have plenty of other spaces to hangout and relax (did I mention the tree fort?). Great value for money!

So, honestly, this is a great hostel. Great location, great rooms, great value for the money. However, I have a few suggestions. We had a lot of questions for the staff and they were not at all as helpful or informative as they should have been. Also, the hostel had a large group staying there, I believe it was a teen boys rugby team, and they were horrible, inappropriate, and ridiculously loud. I suggest that the hostel takes care of the noise (at 7am) when they have large groups like this.

First, the location is actually great (right in the center of town) but the directions to the hostel were terrible. I was lost for over an hour trying to follow the directions they gave. Also, if you're looking for a quiet night, this isn't the place, as it gets very loud every night. The staff itself was friendly, but not attentive at all to their guests. Would rather hangout and talk to each other than help a guest waiting. Overall, it was okay for my one night stay.

5 Terre Backpackers, Cinque Terre, Italy

5 Terre Backpackers was a wonderful place to stay. The two brothers go out of their way to make sure you are completely happy! The location was a bit of a pain because you have no option to see the villages at night & I would recommend not booking transportation early the day you plan to leave. Wifi is only available on the patio but the rest of the facilities are in beautiful. I also loved the 10 euro dinner every night! I definitely recommend this hostel, especially for solo travelers!

I really enjoyed my stay. Right when I checked in, Laura sat me down with a map and marked important landmarks, best restaurants, and best gelato (obviously the most important). She talked to me about the city and gave me a lot of tips which is something I wish every hostel did! The hostel is about a 20 minute walk from the historical center but I had no issue with it at all. It also has a kitchen and fridge you are able to use. The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were very comfortable!

This hostel is a great place to stay for solo travelers or anyone who would like to meet other young people in Venice! It is managed by a younger group of great people who are very welcoming and very fun. Although I never went out with the group, we all socialized in the common area for hours every night. The pasta dinner for 5 euros was fun to do with everyone and a great deal! Also, you can´t get a better location - so close to the train station! Would definitely recommend :)

This was actually a really nice place to stay. Good wifi, a kitchen area, a dinning room area, and clean rooms. I was supposed to have an 18 person room and arrived to be put in a 4 bedroom (thankfully!). The top bunks don't have rails but each bed has its own outlet. Shared bathrooms with not a lot of changing space (small stalls/no shower cubbies) but clean and very nice. I would recommend this stay!

Other than having a very inconsiderate roommate (which is unrelated to the quality of the hostel), we enjoyed our stay at the Palmers Lodge. It was a very convenient location as we flew into London Luden and the 757 Train dropped us off right down the road from the hostel. We were told there was free coffee and tea, but the outlet wasn´t working while we were there. Wifi was not great in the rooms but was okay in the lounge.

Really glad I booked here when looking to save money for a few days in the city. There was nothing extravagant about the stay, but worth the money and it felt clean and secure while there. Wifi worked very well and the metro is very close. Took the train and metro easily from the airport. Not an area with night life if that's what you're interested in, though.
