Kitchen was well-equipped if a little cramped. Bathrooms/showers weren't in the best shape but were fine. Atmosphere was nice, lots going on and very helpful staff. Free shuttle from the airport was a great help!

Budapest Bubble, Budapest, Hungary
9.4
31st Dec 2014

Atmosphere at the Bubble is fantastic, feels more like you're staying at a friend's apartment than at a hostel. If you're looking for a hotel-style place you might be happier somewhere else but if you want somewhere that you'll get to meet people and hang out, nowhere better. Definitely staying here when I'm in Budapest again.

Treestyle Hostel, Budapest, Hungary
9.1
28th Dec 2014

Location is what Treestyle really has going for it, less than five minutes' walk to some of the most popular ruin bars and really close to a lot of the major sights. Rooms were in good shape, kitchen well-equipped. Would definitely be willing to stay here again.

Cityhostel Berlin, Berlin, Germany

There was no kitchen available for guests. Wifi connection was a little spotty but overall worked fine. There were only two outlets in a 6-bed room. Breakfast was very good but kind of expensive. There was nothing bad about my stay; I would certainly be willing to stay here again but I wouldn't necessarily seek it out. Location was good and for the price that probably made it worth it.

Ensuite dorms are nice. Breakfast was good, especially considering it was free. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Easy to walk from the hostel to most locations in Dublin - though places like the Guinness factory and other things on the west end of town might take a while for people not used to walking a lot.

Shelter City, Amsterdam, Netherlands

This hostel was a great experience. Atmosphere is really great; all the staff are super nice and helpful and Oliver, the shelter cat, made everything better! Our group consisted of a Catholic, an agnostic, and an atheist and we all felt right at home :) The breakfast is great and the location is walking distance to most anything you'd want to see in Amsterdam. Only complaint was the small number of electrical outlets in the rooms. Overall highly recommended!
