The location, the rooftop and the beds are great. Breakfast ist self-service and the selection is broad. One drawback is that there are only three bathrooms and on the one on the second floor is NO hot water. Only very few rooms have windows to the outside (mostly to the corridor).

The Location of the hostel is amazing, right in the town centre. You have to check out the roof top terrace, the view is absolutely great. Breakfast for NOK 50 is available, I really enjoyed it.

Great hostel! Our room was a four bed dorm. There was enough space for luggage, sockets and reading lights at each bed. The bar was really cool, try especially the homemade plum sake! Delicious!

Good hostel for backpackers! Possibility to get dinner there and also breakfast. We had breakfast and it was really delicious with home made raisin bread (600¥). The location is the furthest away from the cable car station but really close to the graveyard where every morning you have the possibility to see the prayers of the monks.

Best hostel I've ever stayed! Breakfast buffet for 500 yen is delicious! Rooms are great, with ac and good Wi-Fi. You can even get a different pillow if you want. Shower room is in the B1 with a choice of different hair dryers. I was completely amazed by this hostel! You have to go there!
Thank you for staying us. We were happy to see you too! And we are so happy to read your comment. We want to help for guest's hostel life. We continue to grow up more. If you have the opportunity to come back to Kyoto, please come to our hostel. We are always waiting for your back

Nice hostel very close to the train station. We were in a 4 bed bunk bed, the bed is rather hard, the room is quite big and each bunk could be separated by curtains.

Very good hostel. In the beginning we got a detailed explanation of all the things we could visit in Dublin and where to go for drinks/ food. This was very helpful. Our room was clean, the showers were not really clean, so that was a pity. Also there are only 3 female showers on each floor. Normally enough, but once I had to wait for quite some time. You reach temple bar in about 10 minutes walk. To use the hair dryer you have to pay 50 cents.

We enjoyed the stay there very much. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. There is a limited amount of parking spaces available (for 5€ per night). The room was good and large enough. However the walls are very thin, so you can hear everything that is spoken in the next room. I guess in winter it's petty cold inside as the windows weren't closing properly and were only made of a single glass.

To get there you really need a car and a GPS. I'd say it's impossible to find it otherwise. Then we had some issues finding the owner. But after calling twice we understood each other and finally he was very friendly and interested. The room was great. We had a double and two single beds for two people. And we actually were all alone in this huge house with Wi-Fi, separate shower and toilet, kitchen with free tea, music and TV.

Free wifi, free chocolate pudding with ice cream in the evening (yummy!!) The doors of each room can't be locked and there are no lockers. It's not in the town centre, but it's only a short walk to get there. The kitchen is big and the common area nice and comfortable.

The owner is very kind and could give us useful tips. The beds were very good and comfortable. free breakfast and soup in the evening was awesome and as well free wifi!
Thanks, for staying with us and for taking the time to write such a wonderful review, it is most appreciated. I am happy that you found my tips helpful, that the beds were comfy and that you appreciated the soup in the evening, the bread & jam in the morning and the unlimited Wifi. Cheers, Dory

The beds weren't very stable and made a lot of noise. only two showers and three toilets for all the people is not enough!

You had to pay for wifi (nzd 4 per day or nzd 12 per week). There were only two plugs in each room (and almost everybody needs to use an adaptor so only one plug could be used! Very bad!! The bathrooms were clean and big enough. It was very hot in the room and our room was right in front of a bar which played very loud music in the evening.
Hi Isabelle, I hope the staff made you aware of the free WIFI downstairs in the travel shop between 8am and 7pm??? We wish you happy travels!

Perfect location! Great breakfast (even though fruits shouldn't be cut but left in one piece). We were in a private room and didn't have any window, but the room was nicely decorated.

Our room was in the worst place. It was just in front of the common room which was open until midnight and you could hear every word they said. In addition, it didn't have any window. The breakfast was good. There is parking space for your car. When we checked out we got very helpful advice from a member of the staff.

We stayed in a two bed room. It was great, we had our own sink and hair dryer. Breakfast was basic but very good with bagles and fresh fruit.
