BATHROOMS ARE SO DIRTY. I would not shower there. This hostel really put me off Verona right away. The neighborhood is 20 minutes from the city center and I felt a bit uneasy walking home at night. Sheets seemed clean, but I didn't want to use the blankets. Major ick. Go elsewhere.

Pros: Every bed has a personal outlet and light. Wifi in the rooms (this is very rare). In-room toilet and shower. Good location - right near Temple Bar. Cons: Breakfast is pretty poor. Kitchen is not super user-friendly. Staff is a bit rude.

Pros: Location is good - very close to Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum. Sheets come in sealed plastic. Showers and bathrooms in dorm room. Breakfast is a bit above average: they provide a couple cereal and bread options along with the usual stuff. Cons: It's enormous, making it difficult to connect with people. WAY TOO expensive on the weekends, 40-plus euro. Rooms are a bit dark and many are at ground level. If you're a traveling college kid, this is the place for you.
Thanks about location. We are a large hostel but luckily divided into three buildings so it feels less big. We got rooms located on three different levels. In building A even four levels. Our pricing is comparable to similar properties in the area and we feel we provide good value given our central location and facilities. We regret that this was not your impression.

All good things to say about this hostel. Clean, comfy, cozy. Small and charming. Beautiful common spaces with chandeliers and hardwood furniture. No breakfast, but they have a nightly happy hour with well-priced beers. Wifi in common spaces only.
Hey, thanks for your comment. One remark though, wifi works throughout the whole building, so not only in the common areas. Cheers!

Smack dab in the middle of city center. It's a medieval building and inside is cozy and charming with hardwood furniture, and leather chairs. Small enough to make conversation and meet people easily. The dorm rooms are great as well. Warm comforters and crisp, clean sheets and duvets. Mattress is pretty thick for a hostel too. Breakfast is average. No wifi in the dorm rooms. My only complaint was the shower room was a bit smelly.

Overall, I had a fine time here. The staff was very nice and helpful, and I felt safe. I was warm at night, but the pillows are pretty flimsy. Sheets were clean, but I prefer a duvet for the comforter, because I know they don't get washed daily. No duvets. No hand soap in the bathrooms. I stayed for two nights and for half the time there was no hot water for showering. The common space was a bit impersonal. I prefer a cozier space. Also, no internet in the dorm rooms or breakfast area.
g'day thanks for your comments and notes. our price includes organic breakfast, bed linen and blanket. due to renovation works there was some inconvenience : it's all fixed now :-) we wish you good times within the hi circle regards phil
