Overall - this place was pretty good. We stayed twice, first time, we were in a basic twin - which was pretty basic (as were the toilets/showers). The second stay was in a double, which was actually quite nice (comfy bed/decent ensuite). The staff were really friendly, helpful despite language barrier, and helped with tours/train tickets which was great. They do do food in the evening - although seemed inconsistent as to when this was offered... some nights was a sign with 'no dinner'.....

On arrival - there was some confusion about our booking, we were charged for a 7 bed dorm but had booked a twin - once sorted out, everything was pretty good. The room was small, but we had become used to this based on our time in Japan. The coffee shop downstairs was really good! - it was a bit of a walk to the subway (10 mins maybe?), but was walkable to the Roppongi area (bars/places for food etc.)

Overall - a very good hostel. Fairly decent location, walkable to the train station. We only stayed one night - so not much basis to judge. Very friendly staff, who all spoke very good english. Decent size room compared to other similar hostels in Japan. walking distance to attractions/bars etc.

I cant give Taka and Yuka anything less than 100% - they are up there with the nicest hostel owners we have encountered on our travels. The location of the hostel is really good, tucked down a covered market alley. Yuka showed us the hostel, whilst Taka moved all (a lot) of our luggage to our room, which was a spotless Ryokan style double. Very comfy and tranquil place.

Overall - a good hostel. The location was handy enough (next to the subway/overground stations), but not that close to some of the more popular areas for bars/places to eat etc. Very friendly staff, and whilst the hostel was extremely clean, the room was tiny - but that would appear to be the norm for Tokyo.

As per some of the other reviews, a mile apart from some of the other party hostels, but thats what we were after. really friendly staff, a great location. Rooms were big and very clean. did everything you needed, as well as being in a really good location, and within walking distance to some good bars/places to eat

Overall, the hostel was OK - the private room was big and clean(ish), the Sheet we had on the double bed didnt really fit, so kept falling off. The internet was intermittent, but other than that no real complaints... make sure you go to the 'right' building (there are 3!), as we ended up in the wrong one initially.

The hostel was ok - it as very clean, and the bar and facilities were really good. We ended up staying here 3 nights, longer than expected. The staff were accommodating to our change in plans, but tried to sell us a double bed in a shared dorm, which was odd - we complained, and were then told this should never have happened!. Other than this, the hostel was good.

Overall - a pretty good place to stay... most places in Mac.Pic are always going to be expensive, and this place was pretty much on a par with the other options available. The only 'oddity' was that we actually stayed in the sister hotel, which was fine, exact level of quality, but caught us by suprise, as tis was not previously mentioned.

As per the other comments, this is not a (sigh) party hostel, but for us as a couple, it was a great place to stay. Staff (especially Reuben) were all really helpful, great breakfasts for 10 bobs extra. Rooms were clean, and warm. Really good location, minutes walk to the main squares and markets

Stayed for 3 nights - a fairly good hostel, nothing worth noting as an issue. Clean, friendly staff, and reasonably well located in terms of main attractions.

Really good hostel, with friendly staff, good communal spaces, and conveniently located next to some of the cities best bars. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed here for 1 night, arriving late and leaving early - but from the short stay, was clear that the Hostel is in a really good location of Villaneuva (bars/places to eat etc.). Staff friendly and helpful.

ok hostel, reasonable location for the sights, not near much of the might life. They do run some pretty impressive events and activities in the evening. Showers not the nicest....
Thanks for your comment we will work on your opinion.

A really good hostel, good location and good facilities. Staff very helpful with arranging trips etc. Only complaint is the militant rules, which i appreciate are for the benefit of all guests, but the posters/notices were a wee bit aggressive...!

Great little place to stay if the big party hostels are not your thing. Anna/Paulina were amazing, very friendly and funny, and accommodating of our changes in plans at very short notice. We stayed here for 4 nights in total. Amazing location within a few blocks of great places to eat and drink in Palermo.

Talks on the trips available to the falls was really useful and helped us get the most out of a very short time spent there. Really good breakfasts. Toilets and showers not the cleanest....

The hostel itself was up there with one of the best hostels we had stayed in - the room was exceptionally clean, with an amazing ensuite. There was a pool, a really cool bar, and the facilities offered (tours/breakfast/wifi) were all some of the best we had in Brazil. only points are a) was a far from the main action (close to a bus stop for the falls!), so you had to travel to get any food/drinks, and b) it lacked a bit of atmosphere - the bar was mostly empty, despite being really cool!

Really clean and fun hostel, were really helpful staff, great breakfasts etc. Location was amazing, all within a few blocks of some excellent places to eat and drink. The hostel bar was really good too! Only issue we had was our room was in the second building, which was accessed down an alley where there was typically a car parked. This meant access, particularly with Backpacks really awkward....minor issue though.

Nice little place, a bit of a walk into the main historic centre, but not a massive issue. Amazing breakfasts!

Very Clean hostel, very friendly welcoming staff... Very good breakfast, and a reasonably priced pay-by-weight restaurant in the evening which was really good quality.

really nice/clean hostel - was greeted by Ricki, who was one of the friendliest Hostel managers we had come across on our travels. Room was clean and tidy, did exactly what it needed to.
