Great location and super quick walk from city center. Was just what we needed for a quick place to sleep before moving onto a different city. The only thing is for the price, we still had to make and strip the beds which was a bit weird for us. It'd be different if the room was really cheap - we'd have no problem in that case. But for the price we paid, we didn't expect to have to make and unmake our beds. Also, bed quality in the private room wasn't that great, dorm might best for value here.

I adore Nimmos! Whenever I am in town, I stay there. It for sure isn't a hostel that you would stay in if you are high maintenance or require high end facilities. The kitchen is shared and incredible for meeting new people the entire time you stay there. The older man who works there is THE CUTEST man I have ever met and makes it known that he cares about your time in Galway. The bedrooms are perfect for sleeping, nothing more. I highly suggest to try Nimmos if you are in the adventurous mood :)

The staff was great and actually helped me out with the bus route. Almost got on the wrong bus, but they saved me. Beds were a little uncomfortable, but would for sure stay there again.

Love this hostel. I try to stay here every time I am in Barcelona. The location is amazing and the beds are actually amazing. You'll always find friends to hang out with if you are there alone.

The man at the front was horribly rude. I was the only native English speaker of the group and was trying to explain to my friends that we had to leave a photo id at the desk to get an key card (a ridiculous policy, I don't know about you, but I don't typically trust someone with the only copy of my passport) and he interrupted my conversation to inform my group that it wasn't his fault I did a terrible job at informing them of their policies before booking their rooms. Also, no free breakfast..

I am so sad that we only were there for one night. The hostel was in an incredible location, the staff was great, the beds were actually comfortable and the downstairs turned into a bar at night, so it was filled with fun people. The only issue was on of the staff at night who kind of snapped at us for laughing while leaving the hostel because it was "too late". Other than that though, the next time we head to Dublin, I am for sure staying there!

It was great fun, but a little old and out of date. Especially since none of the rooms had a key for you to get in your room. You had to knock on the door and hope someone was in there to let you in. The front desk is also in the kitchen, but there is rarely someone sitting there to help you check in or out. I would for sure stay there again though.

The bed was a little uncomfortable and at midnight we were told the common room became a quiet room. They made us stop playing our music, but they were nice about it and let us keep hanging around for 30 more minutes.
