One of the things that annoys me the most is when you pay 280ars or $20 Aus per night and the hostel can’t even afford a fitted sheet on the bed! You can’t turn over during the night without the bottom sheet coming off and exposing the dirty disgusting mattress! I stayed 3 nights and had to wake up several times a night to retuck the sheet in so I didn’t sleep on the gross mattress. Nothing annoys me more then this! It’s disgusting! Average hostel, not good atmosphere.
Dear guest: We're really sorry to hear that this is the experience that you kept from Art Factory. We've never had any complains about this issue, if no we would've definitely have changed our sheets! We'd love you to give us another chance to offer you another impression of our place. Best regards!

Great hostel, one of the favourites on my trip, good food, friendly staff (except for the Australian guy) who seemed more about partying then doing his job.
Thanks for the review, you'll be pleased to hear the Aussie has gone! Hope to see you again. Ben and the team

Flying Dog is a great hostel, I booked the jungle tour and a ayahuasca ceremony through the hostel and there were both great and good price! Marcel was super helpful with everything I needed and I couldn't ask for a more helpful and good experience when staying here, will come back if ever in Iquitos

Alright hostel, nothing special, seem to be more staff who work there then there are guests and they are pretty content to just hang with themselves, not the best vibes, hostel is in a great area in São Paulo with cool bars and restaurants but if this is the best hostel in SP the standard is pretty low
Thanks for the tip, we are gonna be aware not to let this happen again, we know it sucks when staff is really into themselves. Not the vibe we aim to create here, as you can read from other travellers. Our bad this time! Sorry?

For a massive chain of hostels you would think they would at least give you a fitted sheet for the bed, instead of 2 flat sheets that barely cover the old dirty mattress that comes off during the night when you sleep

Okay hostel, staff arnt the greatest, they answer your questions but that's about it, ask for a good place to eat and they recommend the hostels restaurant but nothing else. Booked a extra night and had to change rooms (not a issue) though the guy tried to tell me I couldn't lock my valuables up and had to leave them in a storage places which many people had access to which I didn't want! He made it out that I was making a problem for wanting to lock all my money and camera (no ATM on island)

There was a mix up with my booking (not the hostels fault) but both Rebecca and Nino really went out of their way to shuffle stuff around to let me stay there even though they were booked! Super social hostel and great as a solo traveller! Started my trip in South America with high standards of a hostel after here! Only downside is once you drink Pandas Caprihinas you expect the same everywhere else you go! Il be honest they never live up to his! Will be back if ever in Rio!!

Great hostel. As a solo traveller this is perfect, really social and everyone goes and does stuff together, go to the beach / activities during the day and go to party at night or chill and watch a movie / bonfire at night. Couldn't pick a better place, staff are super friendly and go the extra mile to help everyone out, Callum the Australian guy was really friendly and made the stay great! Plus how could you not love a hostel with a cute dog like Pad Thai!
