- Showers were cold more often than not; - Street was noisy at night until 4 am, the staff should have done something more about that; - Changing the entrance code every day is not practical; - Dorm door was usually unlocked; - Few toilets and often smelly; - Soap always missing at girls' toilet on the 1st floor; - Staff friendly but not very efficient (I was not given bed linen when arrived; staff sometimes absent at the reception); - Price is affordable (main pro); - Nice, quiet atmosphere.

Few little remarks: - It would be better if the staff organized shuttles to the airport, like some other hostels in NY do; - The cleaning staff sometimes was really loud (yelling to each other for 30 minutes in the corridors); - In the area there are few, not-so-great places to eat; - I only discovered the lounge and kitchen in the basement on my last day, as nobody told me when I arrived. Please remember to talk about your facilities when people check in! Aparti from these things, very good!

The doors are very heavy, and no matter how much you try to close them silently, they always slam noisily. This is a problem if somebody in your dorm has to leave early in the morning: In my bedroom 2-3 girls started leaving the place at about 5 am and from thay moment sleeping became impossible. Apart from this, it is a nice hostel, very close to the station, clean and friendly and with a kind staff. The pictures on the walls are nice too.
I am happy you enjoyed our Team and Hostel. Sorry you had to deal with the noise i will have maintenance check the doors. EM

This place is ok if you are a teenager or if you are in your early twenties... otherwise, better avoid. Pros: - The staff is helpful & friendly; - The neighborhood is probably the best one in Montreal; - The wi-fi is decent (but not exceptional). Cons: - The prices shown are in USD, not CAD! Beware! - There is only 1 bathroom in the whole hostel! For more than 20 people! - The place may be overcrowded with young people who chat and play music VERY LOUD; - They make a copy of your credit card!

Everything was perfect, except for one thing: when I had to check out the reception was empty and I waited at least 5 minutes before seeing the receptionist.. I was in a hurry and I did't appreciate this fact. I hope this happens only when there is some urgent problem. Except for this, I really appreciated the hotel: clean, quiet, nice furniture, comfortable.
Dear Guest, thank you for your nice feedback! We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. We are sorry for the inconvenience when you check out, this is not our standard. We would like to welcome you at all our hotels :) Greetings from Vienna, the M-Team Central Station

1st floor, no lift, stairs a little creepy. The rooms were often open. The staff is friendly, but there' s a thing I didn't like: when I had to check out, the reception was empty. I waited 5-10 minutes before the receptionist came... I was in a hurry, I had to take a train and I risked to miss it because the reception was empty in that crucial part of the day. I hope this won't happen again. Also, sometimes late at night there was loud music coming from the reception. At least it's very cheap

I cannot find a bad thing to say about this hostel: clean, nice furniture, safe, friendly staff. It also has a bar and when you check in they give you a ticket for a free drink. Next to the hostel there is a restaurant where you can have breakfast. Food is ok.

Cheap, perfect position, clean, very friendly and young atmosphere. My room was close to the reception, and sometimes there were loud noises at night. My bunk bed wasn't very firm and trembled every time the other person moved... he moved and it was like a earthquake for me, and vice versa. It is ok if you want to save money. But maybe I was just not very lucky with the bed.
Hi there, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We can learn a lot of them so we really appreciate to hear about your experience while staying with us. We checked the bed you slept in and our maintenance team is looking into it straight away. Thanks for mentioning this. We hope to see you back at the Pig one day! Happy travels. Cheers, The Flying Pig.

It is a wonderful hostel, very nice, quiet and clean. The view is amazing. The only bad thing is that it is a little expensive and you have to pay an extra for everything... but this hostel is worth the price.

It is ok. It has a sauna, which is a plus. The only bad thing is that if you stay in the female dorm you have to pass through the courtyard to reach the dorm, and this is not very comfortable when the weather is cold, rainy or snowy. Another bad thing about the female dorm is that there is a shower (not a very nice one) but no hair dryer, so if you need to wash and dry your hair you have to go to the main building. Anyway, it is a nice hostel with a friendly staff, and I would recommend it.

Nice hostel. I really enjoyed staying in this boat, it's a unusual, fun experience. I also liked the view.
