One of my favourites - everyone is extremely friendly, impossible to not make friends here. Tons of great common space, bar, kitchen, clean bathrooms and rooms, lots of social events, staff is extremely helpful. Rooms are a little warm but that's my only complaint. Awesome neighbourhood, felt extremely safe even walking alone at night - very close to the subway as well.

Met some great people at this hostel, pretty laid back place. Rooms and bathrooms were kept very clean, complimentary breakfast is amazing for South American hostel standards (bread, jam, cereal, fruit, tea/coffee). However, the neighbourhood felt very unsafe past dark - during the day it's great since it's close to the historic centre, Museo Botero, etc. but once it hits sundown the streets are empty. People from our hostel were robbed nearby by a guy with a fake gun, wouldn't go out past dark.

Definitely seemed like a party hostel, very loud till late hours of the night. But rooms were comfortable, each bed has its own curtain for privacy, lockers in the rooms, clean bathrooms, staff was very helpful and friendly.

Really massive hostel that made it seem a bit impersonal (especially if you're still learning Spanish as most of the guests and many staff speak very little English). Bathrooms are quite dingy at times. Really loud all nights of the week until at least 11 or so. First stay I had a room right beside the kitchen and on a Sunday night was kept awake until 3am from noise levels. Not much else to do except drinking activities. No wifi in the rooms, and is really slow elsewhere. Wouldn't stay again.

Location could be closer to the main downtown area. Great friendly atmosphere, staff were all extremely helpful. Bathrooms could be kept a bit more clean and breakfast is quite minimal (bread and jam and tea, usually a banana as well). Common area and pool room were nice, and security was great - staff locked up my valuables in a closet in the luggage storage after I showed hesitation at leaving it unattended. Laundry service was quick and reliable!

Great friendly atmosphere, hostel has a trip desk that helps you plan anything/everything. Pool and patio area is amazing. Breakfast is quite limited, the standard South American bread and jam. Bar had a great atmosphere as well, lots of locals use it as their going-out spot. But can be quite noisy at night especially on weekends. Some of the staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered when I asked for help with something. The other half of the staff were very helpful and fun though!

Met some great people here, hostel is still pretty small so it's still quite personal. Stayed on the second floor near reception so it was nice and quiet at night since the bar is on the roof. Decent breakfast with fresh juice and crepes with caramel sauce. They hosted a language exchange night at the bar one night which was awesome - locals/people living abroad in Lima that wanted to practice their English came to chat with the hostel guests.

Not a very social atmosphere when I went, the breakfast they serve is good and cheap though! We were upgraded for free from 2 beds in a shared dorm to a private room.

Great atmosphere to meet new people, filled with backpackers when I went. A bit of a walking distance to the bar (Utopia), maybe about 15mins. Closer to the night market and good food places. Cheap and good breakfast! Awesome common area and they sell beers until late at the front desk.

Awesome indoor pool, bar area and common area to eat and hang out. Good, cheap food. Not as social of an atmosphere as I expected, but a good way to meet people would be to sign up for the group trips to Angkor, etc. Front desk staff was super helpful and the rooms were nice and clean with our own shower shared by the 8 or so of us in the room. About a $2 tuktuk ride to the main bar/food area.

Really close to Khaosn but distanced a bit from the noise and craziness so it's quiet at night. Super clean and comfy beds, definitely a good value for the money paid!

Spicytao was really great for meeting people. There's an awesome common area outside with hammocks and a TV and tables where everyone meets up to drink before going out. The staff are super friendly and hilarious, and were kowledgeable about the area. Maids come in to clean the rooms everyday, air con is amazing. Felt like home and really didn't want to leave, am definitely going to miss it here!

Cool common area though it was pretty empty a lot of the time. Rooms were a bit dingy and stuffy, the top bunks were covered in dirt when we got there. Good location about a 5 minute walk to Haad Rin beach. It was a good, cheap option for accommodations for the full moon party - we got free neon paint and a complimentary bucket.

Not a very social environment, at least not in the all girls room. Other than that, really great location in Causeway Bay about a 5 minute walk from Times Square. They also run sightseeing tours that I heard were good. Really clean (maids came in everyday a little bit too early/loud for my liking), every bunk had its own reading light, charger and privacy curtains, which was nice.

Really great social environment and common area that was pretty packed at night. Bunks all had privacy curtains and a personal outlet and reading light. They lock up the hostel at night but give you a code for the side door which my tall friends had issues fitting through haha. Lots of bars nearby to go play darts and drink at.

Really nice, brand new hostel. Very clean, and met lots of awesome people here in the common area. ***Make sure that when you show up you have the address printed out in Japanese because it took our cab driver forever to find out where it was since its still so new***. Really cool rooftop that you can hang out on. Every bunk has its own privacy curtains, outlet and reading lamp which was great. The staff was super helpful anytime we asked for directions/things to do/places to eat.
