I absolutely loved staying at Old City Hostel. The location is perfect for site seeing in the Old City areabut it is not ideal if you want to be partying a lot, so you have to pick which you prefer. I was okay with staying here and having to take a cab or long walk back from Taksim Square area where you party. The only problem you might run into is that the owner is the only staff so you have to make sure he knows you're gone so he can be there to open it up for you if you get back after 12.

Can't complain at all about this hostel. Great value for the price, staff was friendly, and they had a great free breakfast and a nice kitchen for cooking if you wanted. The best part by far was the amazing terrace. It was a perfect place to relax and have a drink or eat and easy way to meet other hostel guests!

Loved St Christophers in Barcelona. The hostel has a fun, lively vibe which is perfect for travelers and backpackers. It is so easy to meet people here and find fun things to do! The staff is helpful as well. It isn't always the cleanest and can be a bit loud at times, and the wifi in St Christophers tended to be very bad, but the wifi at Belushi's (their attached bar) was always great so you can do just fine using that if you really need it.

Staff was nice even though it's a little weird checking in at a different hostel. The location is a bit out of the way from the center of the city where all of the tourist things are but it's still only a 15 minute walk, and is less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. The room was really nice, felt brand new and the bathroom was great. But the bunks were miserable; you couldn't sit up straight on the bottom bunk if you were a midget! And the room was dreadfully hot with no fan or AC!

Convenient location for arriving or departing by train, easy access to the metro for getting elsewhere in the city. And such a FUN atmosphere with the bar downstairs making it very easy to meet new people and have fun! Led to me staying at another St Christopher's in Barcelona. Highly recommend St Christophers in any city!

The security and entrance is a bit weird because of the way you go in through a side door next to a restaurant, and the lockers aren't big enough for a full backpack, but other than that this place was AWESOME! It was brand new when I went there, less than 3 months old, and it was well done. The bathroom/shower area is large and shared for all of the dorms, but plenty of nice showers. There were even built in hair dryers for the girls. Ask to stay in room 8 for an incredible view of cathedral :)

As I clicked through the ratings I realized just how nice this hostel really was. The beds were pretty comfy, storage for bags was good, bathrooms were nice, the laundry was convenient to use and they even had an iron and ironing board. A chill area with cafe and beer was nice and they had a great kitchen and leftover food/spices type stuff from guests area as well. I'm not positive on the area being the best possible choice but I certainly thought it was good!

The main dorms are 16 beds and have only small lockers so you cannot lock up your whole bag. There is only one spot with 6 outlets for charging your things and it is right by the door. Oh, and the door is only a random passcode so anybody who has it can get in, even guests who aren't there anymore. And there is one woman at the front desk who is awful to even try to get help from. I didn't have anything lost or stolen here but it was far from a nice hostel. At least the showers were good...?

A pretty respectable hostel. You have to get a storage locker in the basement to keep your bag, which was a pain. The dorm room was very big but plenty of common space with a table in the middle. Bathrooms and showers were all shared but were reasonably clean for a hostel. It is pretty close to the main things to see in the city as well!

A great hostel that is just a bit outside of the core of Cologne but not too far of a walk. A nice terrace that would be great to relax on in nice weather. The room was nice and spacious, with a shared bathroom for 8 people. Worked out fine. Would stay here again!

Not the best location for a tourist but close enough to a tube station to get to other places. The building is pretty nice and the dorms are 2-per-person and that's nice. Lots of people seem to stay here for longer term and seems like a good fit for that.

The vibe was fun and they had a cool lounge bar area where you could meet people. Security was good because of the cards required to enter the room areas. Showers and bathrooms were shared which can be weird to some but it was fine I thought.

There were some complaints about getting in and we almost had this concern but if you plan your trip and tell them ahead when you'll arrive this shouldn't be a problem. A very nice room and facilities, but far from the center of Inverness so if you're visiting to see more of the city the location isn't very good.

Our room was cozy and had a nice heater. Sink in the room was convenient. Showers were hard to get because of sharing with others but not too bad. A good vibe to the place, common areas made it easy to meet other people. Right at the entry to Isle of Skye, this is a good place to start your trip around Skye!

We got a weird room when we booked here because we booked a twin private but they put us in an apartment area that is usually rented as one unit for 4 people. The security was fine and the room was nice with a little living room and kitchen area, but didn't get a feel for the atmosphere of the main hostel because of this. Also our shower was FREEZING COLD and would not get warm, so that sucked. Otherwise it was just fine!

Thank you for your feedback. Our twin rooms with shared bathrooms are sometimes located in the main hostel, and sometimes as 1 of 2 rooms in one of our apartments in the building next door (with a private kitchen/sitting room area). We encourage any guests using our apartments to come into the main building and use the main common areas and kitchens if they wish. The apartment shower is operated by a hot water timer switch, and our staff are always happy to help guests set this correctly if there are any issues at all with water. We wish you the very best for the future, and hope that we may see you again.

A bit of a dull atmosphere, not much chance to meet other guests but it was in a good location and it was really pretty fairly priced. Bathrooms were okay and the shower was hot and cold, but it wasn't too bad.

Pariwana was a great place for us to stay. We had our room for 4 nights and had almost no problems. The only exception: the water in our shower was nearly impossible to get warm. If it did warm up, it would only do so after 5 minutes or more of running continuously. That makes for a harsh wakeup in the morning!

Dear guest, thank you for your comment, your opinion is very important for us to continue improving everyday, we will be more careful in those details, we guarantee the hot water 24 hours, it is strange you cannot get hot water fast, probably in that moment there were many people who were trying to take a shower, that´s the reason why you didn't get water. Thank you for let us know, we will check our Hot water system, we hope you can come back soon, best regards. Front Desk Manager

When we arrived we rang the bell continuously for 5 minutes and received no reply. We didn't get a response until a local saw us struggling and started running through the hostel trying to find the manager. Finally when he was found he came down and checked us in - but the room keys were out in the open and pretty much anyone could have, in theory, walked up and snagged one. Our room was fine but there was mold on the shower curtain and the toilet ran constantly. We weren't given towels at first
