This has the perfect location! Wifi worked perfectly, beds were comfy. Kitchen facilities nice. Only complaint was the the shower only got cleaned once the 5 days I was there but other than that the place was nice!

Why can't we drink the water here? Other than that this hostel was awesome. Staff was great! Wifi worked perfectly. It was pretty hot in the rooms but they provided us with 2 fans. Location is convenient, close to the tube and grocery stores. Would stay here again!

Cheap and right next to monastiraki station. Staff wasn't that friendly or helpful besides the girl from Russia. She was amazing! No frills type of place but convenient location. Wifi was temperamental

Loved this place! Although the wifi barely worked in the rooms. Had to go downstairs for wifi. My room was very hot at night too. But staff are very friendly and helpful. Very social environment. Very clean facilities and beds were comfy

Wifi does not work in the room! It was annoying to go downstairs to get wifi. Otherwise the beds were comfy and clean. 10-15 min walk to train station. Outside of the city center so public transport is a must

Wifi worked perfectly! Beds were very comfortable and the location was quiet. Not a party place which was so nice! Very close to a market store and about 10-15 min walk to the main area.

Wifi didn't work in my room. Connected to a bar with cheap drinks and cheap food. Location was perfect. Beds were comfy but bathrooms didn't exactly get cleaned. The floors were sticky the whole time I was there... But the atmosphere was awesome!
Thank you very much for your review! We appreciate your feedback a lot, because it gives us information we may not be aware about just yet, and we use it to improve our services! We're sorry to read that you experienced a lower standard of cleanliness than we commit ourselves to, and we will pass on your comment to our external housekeeping company. We will also look into the Wi-Fi, as it should work everywhere in the building. Thanks again for your feedback! - St. Christopher's at The Winston

Staff is kind of hit or miss. Some are extremely helpful others not so much. Great location right next to the train station. Wifi worked well, beds comfy.

Staff were rude and unhelpful. I had to wait 2 hours after the check in time to get in my room. The staff said they'd let me know when it was ready, they didn't and were very rude when I asked about my room. Bathrooms are tiny, airplane size and it's very difficult to maneuver in them. Location is good next to the train station but on the other side is very dodgy and sketchy with questionable people. Will not stay here again
Hi, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I really regret the experience you have made. It is our major aim to provide outstanding service and I appologize that you gained an impression that is totally opposite. We will definately take necessary actions to prevent this of happening again. As I am unable to turn back the clock I would be delighted if you give Generator another Chance. Loved the bar on the roof! Wifi worked well, clean hostel. Little far from the main sites in Berlin but is right next to a metro so getting around is easy

This place is perfect! Clean, location, staff, and comfy beds. I will absolutely stay here again! Wifi worked well in the common area, not so well on my bed. I loved the curtains on the beds for the extra privacy. The kitchen was well stocked and the free coffee and tea was a godsend. One of my favorite hostels so far! But this place is very clean and that's always one of the top things on my list. You won't regret staying here!

How can I even describe in words the exceptional person Sandor is? Sandor is seriously the hero in everyone's story here and everything they say is true. He immediately makes you feel welcome and gives you the most detailed description of Budapest. Hands down the best host I've ever had! He absolutely makes the stay in Budapest incredible. Hostel is very close to public transport and a supermarket. Will absolutely stay here again!

I got bed bug bites from this hostel!! Also checking in was horrible, music was blasting and I could barely hear the questions I was being asked and he was preoccupied doing something else so it took about 20 minutes to check in. That's ridiculous after trying trekking to the place. Also had a bait and switch room ordeal. Would not stay here again.

I thought the staff were friendly. They immediately greeted me at the door and took me to my room. It was a nice location very close to the bus and train station

I found the staff unhelpful. When I was checking in they had other priorities besides their guest. Even when I asked for directions the next day. The drains in the shower and the sink were clogged so that was super gross

A loud and touristy area. Definitely the party scene. Great for young bucks looking to socialize! Not so much for you older folks. Staff here is friendly and very helpful

This location is perfect! You're really close to grafton st. a nice shopping area, o'connell st, temple bar, and trinity college. Seriously the location alone I'd stay here again. The room I stayed in was ensuite, the showers were pretty small do keep that in mind. But overall I enjoyed my experience! It wasn't too much of a party hostel so it was nice and quite at night. And they hold different events each night which is nice. I would definitely stay here again
