Location good, 30 min walk to Monterey downtown or very quick bus but it's only once an hour, close to Cannery Row/Aquarium. Wifi good. Nowhere secure to store luggage. Beds comfy but we weren't given a sheet. Shower ok, toilets clean. Atmosphere very quiet, some odd characters about. Entrance not locked so anyone can walk in! Expensive for what it is but that's Monterey for you. Overall OK, it did the job.

Great hostel. Rooms have own bathroom and kitchen which is so useful. Shower was good. Wifi didnt reach our room on second floor very well and was slow at peak times but good in common areas. Breakfast was great, as were free tacos for dinner. Lively and loud hostel great location for Hollywood and easy access to bus services/station.

Bathroom per room is massive bonus. Beds not particularly comfortable but nothing awful. Location good, 5 mins from Union square and able to walk to the piers if dont want to take the bus! Good secure luggage storage. Don't rely on the breakfast didn't seem to be much but maybe we were a bit early!
