It is a large hostel/hotel. There is little intimacy due to its size, but the rooms are very nice and it is a good value. It is about a 15 min walk to the main square and the rooms are really really nice. They have loads of space and the bathrooms were perfect! I strongly recommend this hotel/hostel to anyone looking to stay at a large place.

If you like a big hostel this is the place to stay. The facilities are nice and the beds are comfortable. Only steps away from both the bus and train station you can get anywhere in the city in under 15 min. For those who like the intimacy of a small hostel, this is not the place for you.

Hostel was very nice but the location was terrible. If you go out at night it is a 30-45 min walk back because the train closes early. This hostel has everything that would make a good hostel but the location is really bad. Beds are comfy and huge! The rooms and bathrooms are very very clean and the showers are nice. The free breakfast in the morning is awesome! I would recommend this hostel to anyone that is ok with having to spend a lot of time coming and going to the hostel.

Clean, close to everything, friendly. Staff are all fantastic!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, smaller hostel where it is very easy to meet people. Within walking in the door I made a hostel full of new friends. The doors on the rooms don't lock but someone at the desk is there all the time in clear line of sight of all the doors. I strongly strongly recommend this place!!

Fantastic place!! I really don't give ratings like this very often. Very easy to meet people, right in the middle of old town. A perfect hostel and the staff was phenomenal!! I also love the cat. I would strongly strongly recommend this hostel.

Even though they are just starting up, this was by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff are amazing and really make you feel at home. Due to its small size the whole hostel gets together every night and parties which makes it very easy to meet people. I strongly recommend this place to everyone. The location is amazing, but it was the staff that take the cake. I will always remember the amazing stay I had at counter culture because in only three days they became like family.

No kitchen, hard to meet people as everyone is in groups. The hostel is a hostel machine. Food is good but a little expensive. I enjoyed my stay but I like smaller party hostels more. Also if you do stay here make sure to go on the day trip to Versailles it was awesome!!

The place was nice enough but completely empty. The staff works in the restaurant below and I never saw them. The location is absolutely phenomenal but the hostel itself is pretty dead. They also don't really speak English. If you are looking for a party hostel don't stay here, if you are looking to meet a couple people and have beers in old town than this is a fantastic place!!
