Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, nice facilities. Breakfast was a good deal for the price and selection. Storage was convenient. Wish we could have had time for on- site bike rental. Only thing that could be improved was to have wifi available in rooms instead of just the lobby. Oh, and elevator wasn't working, so had to walk up 4 flights, but it was great built-in exercise!

This is an ok place if you are a young partier. Only wifi in the lobby where there's a very loud & obnoxious basketball arcade game blasting almost constantly. Tons of student groups coming through. Ensuite bathrooms are like ones in airplanes with a very tiny shower. Lockers were expensive & one was broken, almost locking our stuff inside. Kitchen was closed off most of the time so you couldn't get coffee or water. Pluses: friendly enough staff, hostel close to U-Bahn. Felt like college dorms.

This was a pretty good night's stay on our lay-over before the last leg of our trip to Berlin. Comfy bed, good food & drinks, and really nice porch with umbrellas. It was very hot when we stayed in Frankfurt, so it could have been better with air conditioning, though we know the heat isn't usual for Germany. The food was tasty, but a little overpriced. The staff was mixed in friendliness and helpfulness. I liked that there was a blend of young and older folks. Nice gym area!

Staying at the Garden District House was the best part of our trip to NOLA - and NOLA was awesome! All staff was very friendly, helpful, and personable. We felt welcomed as family right away. The area was safe, the facilities were clean and comfy, and the daily morning coffee and Belgium waffles were icing on the cake. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends. Gold star!
