Super clean bed/bath rooms -- the clean ladies seem to work 24/7. The atmosphere was great for making new friends. The bar is awesome, with cold beer, good drinks and nice music. And it doesn't stand until late, closing at 1:30, which is good when you need to sleep. The staff wasn't very helpful, 'cause we tried a lot to change our top beds to bottom beds, and they seemed to don't care (remembering that we extended our stay -- we were the for a whole week). They could've been more considerate.

Our stay in Puno was definitely better because of Ollanta Inn. We are so grateful to Gonzalo, who welcomed us so well there. He let us check in ealier, like 9 am -- which is not common in most hostels. Also, he gave us an upgrade to a private room with bathroom inside -- perfection! Finally, he was really kind, giving us all the advices about the town, and did our laundry for a very good price. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Peru/Bolivia. Thank you Gonzalo for everything! Mila & Ana

Negative: very dirty bathrooms during the day (it's cleaned just once, in the morning); water in the shower starts hot, then becomes cold in the middle of it, which was awful in the winter; you have to go "outside" to get to the bathroom, which can be really cold at night; super dirty kitchen. Positive: very good breakfast, with eggs, bread, jam and butter, hot drinks; friendly staff, they gave us free shots in the bar many times; nice location; great atmosphere, we made good friends there. :)

Negative: the atmosphere is not good at all, almost dark. There is a nice rooftop bar, but no one talks or interacts there -- kinda sad. My friend and I found people there not very friendly/open, actually, including the staff (except for an english girl that worked at the hostel, super nice person!). No toilet paper sometimes. Positive: the breakfast is okay, with pancakes, bread, jam, butter and hot drinks. Good hot water in the shower, confortable beds, excellent location.

Confortable beds, spacious bathroom, everything very clean. Basic breakfast, but free so it's good. Lockers for hiring. The owner and the girl in the reception were kind and very helpful, but the guy that stayed during the night was really weird. It's a small place, so easy to make friends, good atmosphere. It's not in the city center but there are buses and the metro (10 minutes walking to this one) to take you there. In the end, it's fine for the price; I'd stay there again.

It's far from the city center but a walking distance from the central station, so not a bad location. There are free lockers, which is good, but i actually didn't feel very safe, because the door needs to remain unlocked. Anyone can get inside your room. The atmosphere is terrible, no integration; on the other hand everything was really clean. The worst was the warmth during the night, almost impossible to sleep and, if you open the windows, it refreshes but the noise from outside is unbearable.

Bad points: there aren't lockers and the dificulty to find it (no sign outside, pay attention to he numbers). However, it was NOTHING compared to the AMAZING STAY i had there. It's different from every hostel i've been - it's like an apartament - but I loved it. I felt safe, the rooms are big, the bathroom is really good, the kitchen is complete. But the BEST was the staff, Bianca and Levy, so kind and helpful. Made me feel like home. And the plus of an excellent location. Totally recommended!!!

Excellent hostel. Clean, helpful staff, big bedroom/bathroom, equipied kitchen, good breakfast for an honest price. The location is also really good: very close to a metro station and more or less 10 minutes walking from the center. There are lockers; plug and reading light next to the bed. But the best is the atmosphere, so many friendly people! If you're alone, you'll meet someone at the bar. I've been in a Wombats Hostel in Munich and that's why I chose it again: never disapoints!!!

Good points: The structure is awesome, and old traditional palace - most beautiful hostel i've ever been. The room and the bathroom are very spacious. The location is also really good. Towels for free. Bad ones: About the staff, the guy that stayed the night was helpful and kind, but the girl of the day hours was extremely rude and seemed to hate being there. Not nice... The breakfast is very poor and the atmosphere is ZERO. But after all, i think it worths the money for the first reasons...

Excelent atmosphere, friendly/helpful staff, good location, good breakfast for the "price" (1 pound). But the rooms were a bit dirty, the bathrooms are really small and there was no plug for each bed, neither in the bathroom (impossible to use hairdryer). But overall, good value for the price!

I stayed there just for a night, but liked it a lot. Great location: just behind the main station and a walking distance from the center (Marienplatz). Silent at night. Lockers in the rooms, plugs and reading-light beside the bed. Clean bathrooms. An awesome atmosphere! Nice people, not a mess, cool bar... made a good evening. But for me the best was the excellent free brakfast. The only thing is that the wifi only works in common areas. But didn't make a difference. I truly recommend it.

Nice helpful staff. Good wifi connection. But no lockers in the room... About the location, it's close to a metro station but very far from the city center, so it takes a while to get there (the metro is awful). It was clean, but the lights in the bathroom werent working. They put a temporary bad one, but i could dry my hair, or use the plug for anything else, and have light at the same time. Very nice space/building, but the atmosphere wasnt happy.

Excellent hostel. Good located, friendly/helpful staff, everything organized. I fest safe because you need you key-card to get inside the rooms-area, as it is a strange zone (beside the train station). The shower was not that good, but okay. The breakfast is worthy the price - amazing. But the best is the atmosphere (very happy and exciting!): the bar and common area. I got to know a lot of people and they were all very nice. Loved it!

I loved this hostel... One of the bests i've been! Very clean, spacious room and bathroom. Very well located - between the station and the city center. Paid breakfast, but worthy it - really good! Nice staff. Barbercue area. I didnt try the common area so i cant say about the atmosphere, but made friends in my room, friendly people. It was a happy stay. :)

The worst hostel i've ever been. The only good thing about it is the location. There were no enough lockers for everyone and i felt insecure all the time. The bathrooms were dirty. They don't accept cards. There were a lot of groups of teens so it was very noisy. No wifi in the rooms and poor in the common area. But the WORST was the staff, all of them very rude. I asked a girl at the reception if she could advice me where i could start seeing berlin, she told me "you should just google it".

Walkable distance from the main station. There are good places to eat-out around. Room and bathrooms very clean, nice decoration of the common areas. The staff was helpful but didnt make an effort to make a better atmosphere, so it as very bad: no one talked to each other... found it a little depressing!!! The breakfast is okay, average. After all, it's worthy the money if you're staying 1 or 2 nights.

Super helpful/friendly staff! There was overbooking so they put me in a private room, that was very nice and clean. Also the bathroom was clean. The atmosfere was good, lot of people at the common areas, easy to socialize. Good kitchen. Bad points: the breakfast was expensive and not worthy the price; a little bit far from the center but still okay to walk (15 or 20 min), but around the hostel there's no good place to eat or go out; heard about stealing there but for me was safe.
