When we arrived the staff were not welcoming. The male staff didn't know how to check us in (I think he was new) so we had to wait. The main issue is the building. The whole building is unsafe. The staircase could collapse at any moment. It's sunken into the walls very scary. Wouldn't stay here again. Just dangerous. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Staff are amazing! We had issues booking an overnight train and it was so lovely to have the help of the staff to help us get to our next destination. The waffles are great. The dorms are clean and made for a great nights sleep. A bit hard to find as its inside a shop front. But once we arrived we were very Welcomed. Would stay again :-)

Lovely private room in a great location. I stayed here for my boyfriends birthday and we loved our room. Easy walk to the beach and shops/restaurants. The owner was very nice. The room had a great bathroom and nice fresh towels and sheets. Would highly recommend. Great wifi

Best hostel I have stayed at! Amazing staff and great rooms! I stayed in the 4 bed dorm and the private room and both were fantastic. The staff were so lovely and helpful which made me feel very at home. Great location near train station. Very clean very happy. I will be back!! Thank you !!!

The staff are lovely. And the location in the Forrest is nice. HOWEVER.... I could hear rats or small scurrying animals making noise in the roof or between the walls all night. I couldn't sleep because it sounded like they were in my dorm. I was the only female in the 12 bed mixed dorm which was a bit intimidating. Please fix the problem with the rats.

Nice family owned hostel. Great room in good location in vernazza. Probably the best town in the cinque terra to stay in. Only issue was breakfast is too expensive so we had to eat elsewhere.

We had a good time here. Good location easy to walk to places. We stayed in the private room with ensuite which was nice. Staff were not very helpful though. They always seemed too busy. They need more people on the reception desk ... But I would come back

We booked a cabin room. It was TOO HOT. No air con was a huge let down. Staff very friendly however we didn't enjoy our stay because of the facilities. The market is also very limited. I won't come back.

It is a great alternative if you cannot afford to stay in Rome city itself. Would be great if they offered a shuttle into town. Restaurant was good food but poor service.

It is a cheap option for those who can't afford to stay in Venice itself. I enjoyed my time here. The restaurant is FANTASTIC. the shuttle works well, although was a pain having to book times on it. It would work better if it ran more often and you could just get on. Otherwise very happy.

Stayed in 3 wombats hostels around Europe and you can't go wrong! Very high standard. Loved my stay here. Great location in Munich. You pay a bit more than other hostels but it's worth it

I stayed in a private room which was very expensive and I didn't sleep at all because of how ridiculously hot the rooms became at night. I have stayed at 4 of the wombats hostels in Europe and I love them all but air con in summer seems to be a huge problem for ALL of their hostels. Otherwise it's great! Please fix this for 2016 summer :(
Thank you very much for your review. Due to environmental reasons, air-con is not common in wombat´s hostels, but as summers seem to get hotter in Europe we will think of alternative ways to cool down the rooms in an environmentally friendly way. Best regards, your wombat´s team

Great hostel good bar and restaurant just unfortunate that the location is very far out from the city. Also please get air con or at least a fan for the rooms. I wouldn't recommend staying here in summer because of how hot the rooms become. I unfortunately did not sleep well at all over the 2 nights I was here. Otherwise nice staff

I stayed twice at this hostel before and after tomorrowland because everything else was booked. Both times I was absolutely shocked at how dirty it was. The 8 bed dorm had no ventilation except for a window that opened into the bins and then bugs go into our room. Then the second time in the superior 16 bed dorm which stunk like toilet drainage. The toilets upstairs all have the seats fallen off and the breakfast was so gross I couldn't eat. Nothing is cleaned and its way to expensive!

I stayed in the private room which was very basic considering the amount I had paid. These rooms defiantly needed air con because it was way to hot in middle of July to stay in. I would look elsewhere if you want private accomodation. Hotels are similar price to these rooms and you won't have to share a bathroom.... However the bar and restaurant downstairs are really great additions to this place.
