I do think this hostel has potential, but I would not recommend going to it currently. I suspect there are longer-term residents living in the hostel and some were unclean. Moreover, there was a smell similar to urine in the hallways. I was told by a couple people living in Van that Samesun is hosting people transitioning from homelessness and other vulnerable people. I can’t verify this, and I support efforts to assist vulnerable populations, but the hostel didn’t have a healthy vibe.
Hello, and thanks for the feedback. We clean our common areas and bathrooms daily and perform regular checks throughout the day. We also have air fresheners in our hallways but I will take a look at them. Whilst there is less tourism in general within Vancouver due to the current situation, we still continue to cater to those guests visiting the city from within Canada. We also don't offer facilities for those more vulnerable as there are other options within the city more suited for those in need. Thanks,

Located walking distance to the Chief and town. Relaxed vibes with a nice view of the Chief and the channel. Good kitchen facility for food storage and prep. Seems like they have daily activities for guests. Room and washroom could be a bit cleaner, under the bed was super dusty, but wasn’t bad overall.
Hello, Thank you for leaving us a review! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed our relaxed vibes and view of The Chief! I will be passing your feedback on to our housekeeping team. Cheers, Emmalee

Located right in the village at a decent price; you can get parking at the neighbouring hotel for $25ish/night. The pods and facilities are quite clean. There is a main floor bar/restaurant and an outside patio bar. Would recommend.
Hi there, Thanks so much for staying with us for 3 nights, and for your review! We look forward to welcoming you back to Pangea when you're next in Whistler. Warm regards and thanks again for being our guest, The Team at Pangea

Very clean hostel in a good area 10 minutes walking to the Egyptian Museum and metro. Staff were very down to earth and friendly, and they provided great recommendations. Only downsides are that they offer tours to see the main sites, but they are a bit expensive, so it seems like most people just do it on their own. Breakfast is pretty nice too. I would stay here again.

Decent hostel overall, but I do think some of the facilities can be improved. My bed was uncomfortable, and the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but it was definitely manageable. I didn’t take the 120 LE West Bank tour but seems like overall consensus is that it is not worth it, and you’re better off just getting there on your own. Staff is quite nice.

This hostel has an excellent atmosphere and is situated in an ideal neighbourhood. However, my bed was extremely uncomfortable and the water didn’t work during various times of the day. If they can fix the bed and water issue this hostel would be a 10/10, but still a great spot due to the atmosphere.

Good hostel overall. Located near the main square and many great restaurants/markets. The staff are very helpful too. There are some minor downsides: room is quite hot during the day as they don’t turn on air condition, no hooks to hang your stuff in the shower or toilet which makes things a bit difficult, the water didn’t work in my room one night, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t reach the dorms further away from the main area.

Great hostel overall. In particular, the staff are amazing and really add value to the hostel experience. Great place for solo travellerLocated very close to metro stations, so getting around the city is easy. They have a communal dinner which is a great bonus. Only two complaints. First, the lack of a charging port and place to put your phone for top bunks, which can be a bummer when you’re staying for more than a couple days. Second, the shower/toilet facilities can get a bit tight at times.

10 min walk from train station; close to all the main attractions; really good breakfast for £6.50 (English + continental); my dorm (4 bed) had all the necessary plugs and a sink.
Hi there, thanks so much for leaving us a review! I'm delighted that you enjoyed our full english buffet breakfast and liked your room. We hope to see you again in future. kind regards Holly YHA Cambridge

Cons: there was a gap between the wall and top bunk (no guard rail on that side) wide enough for half my body to slip through; pillow is thin as paper; no charging port or place to put your phone on top bunk. My rating for this hostel would have been much better if the bed situation was so bad. Pros: breakfast is free, just give donation; located decently close to main attractions; staff were quite nice.

Pros: Decent continental breakfast for £5.50; big lockers in dorm to store bags; lots of common room space and a TV room, very close to Kelvingrove. Cons: it’s about a 30 min walk to the city centre, but on the flip side the hostel is in a nice area; this may have just been when I was there, but the hostel was mainly filled with the elderly and a large group of what seemed to be high school children.

Laid back hostel with good and knowledgeable staff. Only a 10 min walk to the grocery store. No breakfast/dinner options. The hostel has trained guides if you’re interested in going for hikes. Beds decently comfy. Good hostel for hiking.

Located 30 min walk from the town, but the plus side is you’re closer to the nice paths and walks. I did the hidden/lost valley. Took ~ 1 hour to walk there, so total hike is about 4-5 hours if you don’t hitch hike or drive. No breakfast option. You can buy a frozen dinner meal for £6.50 I believe. Decent hostel overall if you’re there for hiking.

Comfy place, centrally located in Kendal. Staff are extremely nice and welcoming. The hostel is close to the train station which provides great access to the Lake District for day trips. A grocery store is close by that normally stays open until 2300. Relaxed and cute dog and cat reside at the hostel.

Hostel is located close to the train station, and most spots that are tourist attractions. There is an outdoor rooftop which is covered (rains a lot) and a bar. If you have a hard time sleeping you may have a bit of trouble given they are above and across clubs, so it gets noisy at night. Recommended overall.

Solid place overall. Close to all the main attractions and train station. It’s above a bar, which seems affiliated with the hostel, so easy to meet fellow travellers. Would recommend overall.
Hello and thank you very much for your feedback. We are glad you were content with our convenient location close to all the tourist hotspots, and it's also great to hear you got to meet other fellow travellers and have fun in our Belushi's bar! This place is great! In the Florentin neighbourhood, which is awesome, and 15 minute walk to Jaffa and the beach. Many bus routes around to get to the other beaches too. Not only is breakfast part of the deal, but so is dinner! They run a good happy hour and free nargile/hookah setup after dinner too. Natalie & Co know how to run this hostel! 100% recommended.

Pros: Located in a good location near the free and paid beaches. Has a rooftop and lounge area. Cons: it was pretty hot in some areas of the condo and the AC was somehow turned off over night so it got too hot in the room. You also have to pay 25 NIS for breakfast, which wasn’t worth it perhaps. You are even limited to 1 boiled egg per person. I would recommend trying a different hostel, but unfortunately it seems like there are not many in Tiberias.

Located in a great area. Staff are helpful and down to earth. Breakfast in the morning is good. To get to the hostel you’ll need to walk up a parking garage ramp which usually has taxis at the bottom of it, then take the elevator up to 5th floor. Good hostel overall, would recommend.

Great hostel overall! The team working there is very helpful with questions you have. The atmosphere is very relaxed and brings good vibes. The hostel is located very close to Mt Masada (20 min drive + 20 min hike to the top). They also do adventure tours all around the area, which I recommend doing!

Great hostel overall. Abundance of staff that can help you with many things, including a travel desk that was helpful for figuring out bus schedules. Nice bar/dining area and cool rooftop patio (daily happy hour from 1800-2000). Close to the tram line and between many things from Old City to Museums. Would recommend.

Ms Sue and the rest of the staff are very nice and helpful. You can walk to the beach, but it's about 45 mins. Alternatively, you can take a cheap taxi there. I would come back.
Many thanks for your review and taking the time to write it. Glad you were happy with our customer service. Yes its a 30/45 min walk to the main beach or a 10min cheap local route taxi ride., We also have a beautiful beach at the end of our road at Mary's bay, served by the amazing Canoe Bar and Restaurant, plus other bars and restaurants around the area at far better price than the main tourist beach. Looking forward to your return! .. One Love

Great hostel! The staff are very friendly and helpful, could not ask for more helpful people at a hostel. Two main areas to hang out - ground floor and rooftop patio! Location is great, and only 2 minute walk to a private beach. Definitely worth it, shout out to all the staff at Ochie Reggae Hostel!

Located close to the main city centre with easy access to taxis/mini buses. Stefano, the owner, is a great guy! Wifi wasn't working for the 2 days I was there and showers are cold water.
Dear guest, internet wasn't working because the router was broken. Found the technician who explained this to me and repaired the router, already on the day of your departure, internet has again started and continues to work properly as usual. I apologize again for the lack of service during your stay. Bless.

Great hostel located in the heart of Göreme. Amed particularly and his staff were super helpful with questions regarding tours and buses. Terrace view is great. You get a choice of 6 options for breakfast which is nice. I ended up staying an extra night. Good hostel overall, I would recommend.

Located close to Hadrian's Gate and the main tourist Center. Bit far from Otogar, but not much is happening around the Otogar anyway. My room had A/C which was nice. Breakfast was typical Turkish breakfast. Staff were quasi-helpful.

Very clean and well priced hotel. I got a room with two beds and my own bathroom. It is only a 3 minute walk from the Otogar which is great if you are using Denizli as a sleeping place to get to Pamukkale. Dinner was only 15 TL and was great! I would recommend this hostel.

In a great location for site seeing, minutes walking distance to places such as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Archeological Museums to name a few. The bar at the top floor has a picture perfect view of Hagia Sophia. The staff, Ahmet and Sinan, were really what made the place feel comfortable. They are very very helpful, just ask them what you need. I would recommend this place.

Good hostel in a great area. Walking distance to Pablado neighbourhood and stones throw from many good restaurants, including Olivia and El Güero. Facilities are nice with a lounge area and cool patio rooftop. Staff are nice, speaking a bit of Spanish will help you. Only complaint is the cleanliness of the hostel. I am sure they are doing their best but the top washroom didn't have toilet paper for nearly a day and the bottom men's washroom often smelled of urine. But overall, great hostel.

Great hostel, located in a perfect location - if you don't want to be directly in Salento. The hostel is a 15 minute walk from Salento which is perfect. The view is spectacular, essentially wake up to mountain view. If you are staying in Salento, I would recommend this hostel.

Two things make this hostel outstanding: the staff and the facilities. It seems like a brand new building with new furniture. Moreover, the kitchen has been by far the best I have seen in a hostel. But most importantly, the staff are beyond amazing. Viviana does a great walking tour so check her out! If you plan on going to Porto or Lisbon they have hostels there too and you can get a discount if you book with them. Definitely recommend this hostel.

Would not recommend this hostel unless you are really strapped for cash and/or will only be here for 1 night TOPS. I found staff slightly rude. Wifi was not working so I inquired about paying for wifi and was told "...if you pay, it may or may not work, but it should be ok." Security I rate low because the balcony which leads to your exterior door leads to other dorms, there is no lock on your exterior door so people can just randomly walk in.

Really good hostel located in an area that allows you to take the metro quickly to the core. The surrounding area may be a little intimidating for women at night, however, there are always security guards standing outside of the hostel. I would recommend this hostel for a location just outside of the chaos but close enough to get into it. Great staff too! Always willing to giving recommendations.

You are located right at Grand Place which is a huge bonus. Value for money is bar none. Do not forget that you need to check in up the street (10/15 minute walk). Only downside is that the washroom in my room had a bit of a smell to it, I think it was due to the water. I would recommend this hostel.
