Great ambiance, very social with dinner events to facilitate mixing but also quiet at night which I appreciated. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the garden out back is lovely. Easy access to anywhere in city via public transit. Rooms were simple and could use curtains/more accessible outlets, but were fine. Bathrooms were clean although some of the showers were a little awkward (i.e., no bench or place to put clothes). Honestly one of the best hostels I've been to, would recommend!

Bar and lounge area downstairs were great features - used wifi in lounge when I got in a few hours before check in, and bar was great for meeting people. Chaotic street area that would be difficult to park in, but for travellers walking from train station great option. ~15 min walk to touristy spots downtown. Check-in receptionist was helpful and gave great info on things to see my one day in Munich. Overall would recommend!

Selina is your typical corporate hostel; lots of tours and activities on offer, cool bar and restaurant, new clean facilities. The dorm room had nice beds (curtain, shelf, outlet); my only complaint was the bathroom, which was not well designed and kind of gross (water on floor, trash overflowing). I also stayed a night in a private room which was like a nice hotel room, good bathroom. Not much atmosphere between guests, but I also wasn’t looking to interact much during my stay.
Hello!! Thank you for your feedback and all the comments you have made, and for the compliments. We hope you have had a good experience from here and can return :)

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and the pool was nice. Breakfast wasn't the nicest (eggs and toast) but filling. The location is ok, though the 10-15 minute walk to any restaurants felt a lot longer in the midday heat (don't eat at the nearby air-conditioned tea places that serve food, one of them gave me food poisoning).

This is by far the nicest hostel I've stayed at in terms of facilities. Beautiful pool, a solid bar menu for all meals, clean rooms and nice bathrooms felt luxurious after a few weeks of travel. Lots of events, people hanging out at all times, nights were a mix of movie screenings and more of a party vibe. Definitely a large, built-up Western place and not a local vibe, but I welcomed the many conveniences they offer.

You get what you pay for, which isn't much. The dorm is very basic with thin mattresses, no AC and only one bathroom with hot showers. It's a hangout spot for locals, none of whom are terribly interested in meeting the guests. Staff friendly but keep to themselves, and you may get pressured a bit to book a tour through them as commissions supplement their income. Location is a bit away from the old city but around some authentic Thai restaurants.

Cleanest hostel I’ve stayed in so far during my travels in Thailand. Though I would call it a poshtel it still had a good atmosphere and lots of people looking to mingle. The staff were organized and friendly. They will connect you to lots of tours which are on the pricier side. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

The hostel owner, Duoi, was wonderful and really made the stay great! She hung out with the guests and even drove us to Erawan falls one afternoon. The place itself is charming and relaxed, especially what I wanted before Bangkok. Because the doors to the outside were always kept open there were bugs in the main room area, which I wasn't a fan of, but inside the rooms was clean.

I had good conversations with both staff and guests and went on a boat excursion with some people I met here (which I would 100% recommend regardless of where you stay). I liked having the option of joining people who were visiting on the porch or just chilling and watching the TV they have inside. In terms of facilities the wifi was meh and sometimes the filter runs out of water, but they do offer laundry. "Security" was an unlocked, low fence, albeit in a seemingly quiet neighborhood.

Loved it here! Beautiful property and awesome staff, met some cool people here. Is a bit far from the center and was kindof quiet when we visited, but overall great place.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and hung out in the common areas. There were always people from all over talking, playing cards or eating up front which created a great atmosphere. Was also cheaper (and had a better location) than the disgusting motel we stayed at the night before. Only wish we had been able to stay both nights! Word to the wise: book ahead of time for Friday and Saturday nights.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating-they even gave me free stickers even though the price was listed. There were a few individuals around to meet, but at least for the one night we stayed there wasn't really a group atmosphere, though the common rooms were lovely. A little more than I would have liked to pay for a hostel because I was on a very tight budget, but given the quality of facilities and services justified.
