Basic but very comfortable hostel in a good central location. The 8 bed-dorm was quite cramped but the beds were comfortable and had a sink and shower in the room which was nice. The bathroom could definitely do with a good clean though. Kitchen facilities are fine and free breakfast is always a win. Rooms are airconditioned and there is a nice terrace to eat on. We were highly entertained by the pet tortoise that has a fetish for chomping on toes! :)

Cosy hostel with a nice atmosphere. No lockers in rooms and not any space to store your bags but it felt quite safe. Shared bathrooms were reasonably clean but only luke warm water in the showers! Nice large kitchen but half the hot plates weren't working. The key card access to rooms makes a weird ringtone everytime someone comes in which is quite disruptive.

One of our favourite hostels. Super super clean with a really lovely ensuite bathroom in the dorms. We stayed in a 9 bed dorm which was really spacious and comfortable with lockers provided. Tiny kitchen but has everything you need. Location is a little out of town but we happily walked into town- only 20-30minutes. I would recommend this hostel.
Dear Guest, Thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback. We are super happy to hear you enjoyed staying with us. Looking forward to welcoming you back very soon. Best regards, Your MEININGER Team Salzburg

The treehouse is fantastic - you come to Grünau just to stay here. One of the most beautiful locations in the world. The treehouse feels like home - no locked doors or lockers but there's no need - everyone becomes family. Everyone eats a home cooked meal together each night for €9. Great cheap bar, movie room and downstairs hang out room. Only downside is you can't use the kitchen yourself or get to the supermarket easily, but if you accept you're there to join in the meals then it's fine.

Probably one of the best hostels in Europe. Really cheap, spacious and modern dorms with lockers, private lights and power points, ensuite toilet and shower in dorms that are impeccably clean. Huge kitchen to use, huge breakfast and dining area. Cheap laundry downstairs and lively bar. We stayed once in cooler weather and LOVED it, but when we stayed in peak heat it was absolutely unbearable with no air flow at all so just don't go in peak summer!

Lovely cosy appartment right next to the train station. Ideal for a base from which to explore the cinque terre! Erika, who runs the appartment, is so wonderful! She's so welcoming and helpful and was very quick with communicating for anything we needed. The only downside was that the rooms retain a lot of heat, even with a fan inside, which means you need to sleep with the window open and the noise that comes from the main street below is so unbelievably loud!

Absolutely love Marisa Rooms!! Would go back in a heartbeat. Easily the most enjoyable stay we've had on our trip around Europe. The two ladies running the rooms are so lovely and helpful, even offering us a choice of rooms when we arrived and they noticed how tall my partner was and thought he might be better suited to a larger bed. Beautiful little building with simple gorgeous rooms - such a lovely atmosphere! Location is perfect as you can walk into the centre of Parikia in minutes.

Beautiful location on Paraga Beach and walking distance to Paradise Beach but far from the centre with buses that only run once an hour. Staff were friendly but not always helpful with questions.. Shared bathrooms were surprisingly clean! However on booking a "private double room" on Hostel world we didn't realize that meant camping in a permanent tent slash storage container! Wifi is pretty much non-existent. Be prepared for a noisy night as you can hear club music from the beach all night.

This is the place to stay in Budapest! I would 100% come back. It seems like a dodgy place when you enter the building but once you go to the top floor where the hostel is its perfect. Basically an appartment that's been refitted to the highest standard with two small dorms and a private. So clean and modern. There's a kitchen to use and the dorms have cute balconies overlooking the road. Location is ideal too. A little warm in summer but such an adorable place to stay. Robi that runs it great!
