Lovely hostel...felt more like a hotel. A very calm atmosphere, and friendly people. Definitely get what you pay for....also the free breakfast is must do. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I've stayed in a few generator hostels, and this is the same for most. Friendly staff at reception, decent food available, good location. Would recommend staying here.

Fantastic time at Hostel Meyerbeer. Loads of fun, is really close to the beach, just 5 minutes walk and you can borrow stuff from the hostel...towels, umbrellas, lidos (needed for a pebbly beach). Take advantage of the free walking tour, was good to hear more about the history of Nice. Elsa at the front desk is so helpful (everyone else is but she is really good).

Good value for money for what I got. Everyone that I met was really helpful and welcoming. However the showers felt like those at a swimming baths and are quite tiny. NOTE: you have to keep pushing the button for the water to come out, which is luke warm. Also remember to bring your own lock as the doors have no locks on them so anybody can just walk in.
