Really friendly staff and good common area to hang out in and meet people. Easy to access by metro and reasonably central. The hostel also puts on good, cheap, optional meals for guests which is a nice touch. Would stay again.

The beds at this place do not deserve the 9 star rating that the hostel has, it's like sleeping on a wooden slat, but everything else was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hostel is super close to the beach.

The beds are comfy and the rooms are a good size but there is virtually no 'hostel culture' or common area for meeting new people. I also had to battle for the free breakfast included with my booking - I had to show several emails to convince the staff that I didn't have to pay for it again. Otherwise the hostel is a comfy and convenient place to stay in Delhi :)

Loved my stay here!! The hostel is in great condition and the facilities are awesome. Staff were also very helpful, even letting a couple of us leave our bags overnight when we did a hiking trip. The location is also ideal - walking distance from everything! I was lucky enough to meet some people through the hostel walking tour but it was difficult before that. Would definitely recommend the hostel events!

A great place to stay for a couple of days. There were no large lockers for a full bag but small lockers were available for valuables, which is really all you need. As far as I could tell, each floor only had one toilet but having said that, I never had to wait very long. Location is ideal, social events were pretty good. Would stay here again, but maybe with a friend and not as a solo traveller

This hostel was good, but not exactly set out like most hostels I've been to. I felt like I was sleeping on a double bed with my friend (2 single beds next to each other), which was fine but would've been weird if I was next to a stranger. There was also a kitchen but no living room that I could find. Overall though, this hostel was quite good. I wouldn't stay as a solo traveller, but with a group it's great- comfy beds and good location and facilities and all.

For a cheap hostel, this place was great. We only stayed 1 night, but we were very impressed. Our room had air con, the kitchen and communal areas were really nice, we got given maps and all, and we joined the pub crawl which was lots of fun. The bathrooms were a little tight, but nothing to complain about, especially for the price! I would definitely stay here again :)

Really liked this hostel!! We had air con in our rooms, the beds were great, there was a kitchen and computer, and even a TV and DVDs. It was not a party hostel, but still really cool. The guy who checked us in was a bit hard to read- he seemed grumpy but was really friendly 2 hours later- but other than that, it was great! Impressive for a budget place, I'd stay again :)

Loved this hostel! They had everything you need, and the kitchen was a great communal space to meet people. Good free breakfast too. Our room looked onto the courtyard area and the windows were always open so it could be a bit loud at night, but nothing too annoying. The only downside was the lockers- the doors opened upwards so it was super difficult to get to your stuff, and they banged down loudly if you accidentally dropped it in the middle of the night. Overall was very pleased though :)

Quite a small hostel, but really great. The vibe is chilled and you feel like you know everyone because it's not so huge. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the showers and kitchen are decent. Would recommend!

I liked this hostel, it was a very fun place to stay and the staff were honestly amazing. Free breakfasts and dinners were good quality (not every night though), and the events they offered were good. Overall though, I think they could make some improvements for the money you pay. Our 8 bed dorm was very packed, the bathrooms were good but not great, and there were no reading lights or powerpoints by the beds. Very small things, but I think they could do better simply given how expensive it was.

Such a good hostel for the money you pay! The free breakfast is nothing exciting, it's quite loud outside the room, the beds are about a 7/10, and there's no air con in the rooms, but it's all decent for 10€ a night. Basically, it's not a luxury hostel, but it's more than adequate :) I stayed in July and the rooms were fine with a fan, so we survived, and the bathrooms were great. Plus a kitchen and lockers and bag storage are all convenient. All in all, would stay again :)

Five Elements Hostel Frankfurt, Frankfurt, Germany

Five Elements was a really fun hostel, and has everything you could want. Great socialising areas, comfy rooms, good bathrooms, a hostel bar. The letdown for me was the location, although they do warn you in advance. The hostel is right near the Hauptbahnhof so it's very convenient, and I never felt unsafe in the red light district, but you had to a walk a way to find the pretty areas of Frankfurt. All in all a super super hostel, but be prepared to have to hunt for the nicer side Frankfurt

Thank you for the review! Actually I kind of disagree with you. You just need to go down one street from the hostel and you are already surrounded by cool places with students and artists, delicious restaurants from all around the world. A few more streets down and you are already laying down by the river... Does it sound like a big hunt to you? We are always happy to help and give the best tips at the reception so make sure to ask ;) Happy travels!

This hostel has everything you need, and the facilities are *awesome*. Only downside is that they make it very clear that it is not a party hostel. No alcohol allowed, no events organised for guests etc. Luckily for us the staff didn't enforce it too strictly, but it did kill the vibe a little and it wasn't easy to meet people. Felt more like a budget option for business travellers. Super comfortable and well organised though.

The staff were friendly, helpful and really knowledgable. The rooms were clean and had everything you could need, and the beds were comfy. Everyone is given their own key and the rooms are lockable, but the whole time I was there no one locked our room. It was fine, but if you're really safety conscious it might be a problem, because anyone in the room can leave it unlocked. The common areas are great too- it was easy to meet people. Overall I was very impressed and would definitely stay again!

Everything here is great except for the location. Being out of a city is fine if the public transport is decent, but to get into Rome we had to take multiple buses (which were often late) and getting home anytime after 11 required a 20 minute walk along a highway. They do offer a shuttle to Rome, but for the cost of it you may as well stay closer to the city. Basically, this place is great if you have plenty of time, but don't expect to be able to see the sites in a few days.

This is basically just an apartment with multiple beds. The kitchen/common room is big and pretty decent, but there is no security other than the lock on the front door, which is a bit of a pain. The beds were comfy and the showers were alright, but it was nothing special. Great location though!

A really good hostel- well organised and with everything you should expect and need. Staff were really friendly other than one rude woman. Only downer was that it seemed to be mostly groups, so it was harder to meet people, but otherwise Valley Hostel was fabulous :) Would stay here again for sure!
