Friendly place-really easy to meet people in all of the communal areas and with the inexpensive dinner they serve every night. Wonderful, excited staff. The only problem was that the bed was really uncomfortable and squeaky, but I'd still come back the next time I'm in Barcelona. Everything else was excellent.

When we arrived at the hostel there was almost no one else there. The hostel wasn't offering many of the things that it does during the more popular season-for example there was no shuttle service to the hot springs. The 4 man room is the same price as some of the bigger ones, but I wouldn't recommend choosing it because it's so small. The communal room was nice and clean but no one from the hostel really stayed there. Other than that, the staff was really friendly.
Hi Erin, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that there was no car service to the hot springs at that time. If you come back and ask at the reception desk we can always organize a shuttle service for the next day, provided the weather permits it! We are glad that you liked our communal room and we are pretty sure that if you come back during high season you will meet a lot of fellow travelers! Hopefully you will be there!

I've already recommended this hostel to my friends at home. If you ever come to Cinque Terre, it's with staying here. It's a little bit pricier than I'm used to and it's not possible to walk here from town-but I would come back any day. Leo is an excellent driver-they offer a drop-off to town twice in the morning and a return twice at night. The owner makes dinner every night-10 euro if you want to join. Great view in the back and nice communal area.
thanks a lot ;-)))

Really nice place to stay-it's easy to get to know the people at the hostel. The price is the best you'll find anywhere and the staff is great. The only problem we had was finding it-there's a small sign on the building that has the name, but no instructions on where to go once you're inside (it's on the very top floor).

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a nice bar area to hang out. The one problem was that the wifi didn't work great and we couldn't get a call to go through.
Hi! Thank you for taking time and sharing your feedback! We are sorry for the wifi problems. We already made a contract with a new provider to offer super fast and properly working wifi :) Anyways, we are happy to see that you enjoyed your stay with us! We hope to see you again in this or any other MEININGER all over europe! Many greetings, Toni

We've already recommended this hostel to everyone we've met heading to the Czech Republic. You walk in and feel like you're in a home. The kitchen and living room are both adorable and great places to meet people. The staff was wonderful and will probably offer you to drink with them. We also got to spend some time with the owners and they were lovely. There's a board with things to do around the town, and when you walk in they give you their own recommendations along with a map. Stay here!

Great location and a nice area to hang out. The hostel appears pretty old and worn, but it wasn't a problem for us. They didn't have many outlets however-in a 10 person dorm there were 2 or 3.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast offered. Unfortunately, the wifi barely worked. It was pretty far out of town too.

This was a nice, clean hostel. There was breakfast provided, but it was part of a baguette, a croissant with jam, and coffee. Unfortunately, the lockers were too small for our 46L bags to fit inside. In addition, the water was turned off in the morning, so we could not use the sink or shower. We asked for a discount because of this, but they could not give us one.
